Hey y’all!🌙✨ I’ve taken a little break, but I’m back and bringing you in my kitchen for a little while! Since we’re in the beautiful month of Ramadan, I thought I’d share a simple, but delicious meal you could try as an Iftar meal. Navy Bean Burgers!🍔💫

For me, having a large family means that I love a dinner that doesn’t leave me completely exhausted! The navy bean is such a nutritious and flexible ingredient; it can be used in so many recipes! This is also a dish that produces easy leftovers for the next day or so. 🍽️

Hey y’all! 🌸 It’s more than okay to hit pause and embrace a little self-care. 🤗

Put those chores on hold, and listen to your body when it’s asking for a break. Mine sat me down yesterday, and I know I needed it! Trust me, the world won’t fall apart if you rest for a little bit.

It can be so challenging as moms to make OUR well-being a priority, but taking moments to recharge makes everything (and everyone) around you shine even brighter. 🌟

So, go ahead and give yourself permission to take things slow today. You deserve it all! 🩷🤲🏾🌻

Right now, it may seem pretty hard to enjoy nature. However, we can choose to be intentional about finding the positive in any situation.🌟

Flash back to a couple weeks ago, when we were outsideeeee!! In our family, we try to prioritize taking a break from screens and daily chores and simply PLAY!🤩

Blow some bubbles, watch the bugs, or take a walk! Discover new adventures in your own backyard or city, and create precious memories with your babies.🌿

🌈 Wellness Wednesday 🌈

So I really can’t make this stuff up.. I was in the middle of nursing the baby and winding everyone else down for sleep when my oldest daughter needed help with her fitted sheet dilemma (one of the other siblings spilled water on the bed, so it was a whole thing). Y’all know how it is, right? 😅

Since I love finding ways to teach more than one lesson at a time, I thought why not seize the moment? We’re learning life skills and emotional regulation over here!✨

Be sure to watch until the end for a mini tutorial on how we embrace calm with rainbow breathing. It’s perfect for little moments of frustration or needing a break when there’s just too much going on. It really does help get you back on track! 🌬️🌟

As we prepare to start back up with our school routine, we’re cherishing all the fun memories from our winter break at Grandma & Granddaddy’s house! 🏡

Mamas (and daddies!), don’t stress yourself and your pockets out trying to entertain these babies. Of course, there are times when we want to go all out, but I guarantee all they want from us is our undivided attention✨

She completes our Fantastic Four!! On Sep. 24th, Ruqayyah came into the world during a storm, but hers proved to be the smoothest delivery we’ve ever experienced. Our hands are full, but our hearts are even fuller! So much gratitude, and all praise is due to Allah🙏🏾💕💗 by @helenas_hands
