breaking world records with my friend Joe 😗✌🏼

had the bestest time singing at Radio City for 7 nights- being able to hear his music every night and discovering layers for each piece was so exciting. I’m so grateful for the experience and to have met such beautiful people!!🫶🏼 taken in Radio City Music Hall by @helendelphia

Wong Side of Time had a very successful run, yay!! What an honor it was to work with such a multifaceted team of artists to bring this project to life! It was so exciting to be learning from and collaborating with a predominately Asian American cast and crew. I hope to work with them again soon and wish them nothing but the best🫶🏼
Taking on Mom (Die Wong) was a beautiful challenge, and deepened my appreciation and awe of my own mom. Not only has she always supported me to pursue my dreams, but she went on to pursue her dream of being a preschool teacher and running her own school as an immigrant. Her dedication and passion for her work inspires me to seek out more artistic opportunities to continue improving my craft. Here’s to meaningful musical storytelling and to continue pursuing one’s dreams🦋 taken in Classic Stage Company by @helendelphia

Jake was one of my first friends I made when moving to the city. It was both our first year in Cantori and we were nervous but excited to be a part of a musical community again and have the chance to make new friends. Over the years, I learned quickly it takes extra effort to make adult friendships last. It takes communication, consistency, and care. Jake made it easy. Through our shared love for running, music, and theater, we created so many fun and beautiful memories together. It was really exciting to see him and be a part of his life’s next steps- he recently moved to an apartment in the upper west side and we joked around him living the “bougie” life now.

I truly can’t wrap my head around his sudden passing. It doesn’t feel real. We had plans to go see a show soon, as usual. I thought we’d catch up then. All I can say now is that I’m forever grateful to have shared even a small piece of his grand life. Such a beautiful, smart, sassy, witty, lovable, caring person to be around.
I’m going to miss him so much. by @helendelphia
