My project, 8 Minutes, is currently on exhibition.

This project is dedicated to the outstanding doctors at @uchicagomed.

The title comes from a very personal experience—and the worst experience of my life: 8 minutes when my husband's heart wasn't beating. It's a story I wish had never happened and one I no longer want to talk about or relive, but it became the inspiration for this project.

My photo is one of the prize-winning entries in the CEWE worldwide photo competition, in the Street Photo category, organized by CEWE—the largest photo-finishing company in Europe. The CEWE Photo Award is the world’s largest photography competition, and this year it received 656,547 entries (!). by @helenmclain
