🎨 My Bookish Palette 🎨
This was very hard to make and think about because i get my books from the library and don’t have a ton at home!! i basically had to look up all the books i’ve read to find ones that matched the colors LOL
I think i did decent!

✏️Pick a book, become a teacher☕️
in lieu of me being so inactive because teaching takes up all my time… here’s a post about teachers!!
This was a lot of fun to make especially because my body leaves my classroom at night, but my mind never does!!
made this in between grading a math quiz and my masters class 😭 it’s been SUCH a busy month, but i’ve been audiobooking every spare chance I get!! I’ll post my September reads tomorrow!
i hope everyone’s been doing well!

non aesthetic post because i’ve been SOOO BUSY!! 🍂 Today was my first first day of year 2 of teaching!! it went pretty well but i definitely have my work cut out for me! I’m just so excited to get to know my students more and hopefully my love of reading will rub off on some of them lol
anyway, i’m currently reading City of Heavenly Fire, I’m on chapter 17 and i’m really enjoying it so far! Simon is still my favorite character :)
and I’m about to start audiobooking The Everlasting.

🍃august reads!🍉 10 books read! (really 11, but i finished the 11th after i made this so… we’ll count it for september)
☀️favorite read- the knight and the moth
🗡️least favorite - red queen 🙈
this was such a great reading month! as you can see at the end of august i had 3 free days and used them to the FULLEST extent before school starts back up LOL
i have so many books planned for september but i need to remember that it’s okay to not hit reading goals when life gets busy… or if you just don’t want to read!!
i’ll post my september TBR tomorrow :)

✨book review ✨
The Kill Factor ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Go to jail or go on a game show with a 1/50 chance of going free?
Young criminals are brought to a game show on an island to compete for their freedom in front of millions of live viewers. Followers are currency, popularity is a must and survival is only possible for one.
This book was SO GOOD. i’ve been really into reality TV recently and it made me think a lot about the shows i’m watching and how we aren’t exactly far from this type of reality!
The ending gagged me and I can’t BELIEVE there’s no book 2 yet!!!
