….SMELL RAD

If you’ve ever spent a full day hiking the backcountry on a +7°C bluebird powder day, you know exactly what happens…
That slow building, wandering skunk in love, backcountry stench that no tech layer can save you from. So rank it would make Pepé Le Pew proud.

We had one of those days this season, & on the drive back down the hill we ended up laughing about what a cologne ad for that smell would look like.
The jokes were too good not to make it real.

Arguably the greatest winter for a few friends past their prime and the Hell Rad Cartel.
It was never meant to be more than a season — just friends, beers, laughter, and leaving our own perfect lines on the mountain.
But somehow, it became more. Meaning crept in between the turns. Every week brought fresh lines, and the mantra of “Give It Hell” . (There was also a bit of fuck around and find out.)
Turns became transcendence; resolve became ritual. Weather, aspect and the cedarwood cam become everything. We hiked every ridge, gully, face or tree run you see here, and heaps you don’t, simply because we could and we fucken love it. And I was re payed in full. It’s out there if you want it. Then @eddietor_media drops this video and blows my fucken mind. Perfect, pivotal, precise, penultimate…..preemo. Mate you deserve more accolades. Not only did you hike every line. You captured the spirit. You also bloody remapped the whole area! Legendary. 🫡
We did this for us and the cartel and we laughed the whole way through. I’ve thanked and hugged you all for hiking and hanging out of bounds and riding mountains with me. No one got it better than us. Can’t wait till next year.

Life beyond the boundaries — that’s Hell Rad. And here’s about ten minutes to prove it.

“Woodsy”, GIVING IT HELL and tearing apart ‘Dwyer’s Dream’. Ocean raised, concrete schooled, alpine made. Board rider, Hell Rad lifer.
Stacking shots on both sides of the lense, drinkin beers and setting the proverbial bar to height. Legend.
Hell Rad isn’t where you are it’s how you are. Proud member of the local Tawonga Board Riders (a wholly owned subsidiary of Hell Rad) holding it down ‘out there’ and in the park. 🤘
