🍁Ideally, we should be getting into nature before we get to this point. Becoming a mom has reminded me of my deep need for connection with Mother Earth, especially through hiking (I mean, I feel like my whole personality is nature, my soul belongs in nature). The last couple years, getting outside and into nature has almost always been for work, or for the dogs. Not for me.
I want my kid to know the healing power of being in nature. Not only being outside, but being fully immersed in nature. And I need to set the example of that.
I’m trying, I’m trying. I’m trying to be the best version of myself that I can be for my kid. I’m trying to be the best version of myself for my marriage.
Even though right now it all just feels like too much.
