EXODUS: A Survivor's Story
.
😅😫😆
.
Last season gave us a preview of what Genosha was like and then they clobbered us with Sentinels. We saw a happy sanctuary for mutants. We even saw Exodus dancing like a cheap street... performer! 😅The synopsis of today's new episode gave us a glimpse of the savage lands but not like from the original series. I am disappointed with that BUT it's still a great episode telling another story. I can't believe the season is almost over!!!😫😫😫

The X-Men's Hellfire Gala, mutantkind's biggest night, is back for another drama-filled one-shot of mystery, betrayal, and Omega-level fashion in 'X-Men: The Hellfire Murder' #1, hitting stands in July.

When an iconic mutant power player is murdered at an exclusive masquerade hosted by Sebastian Shaw, it falls to Wolverine and Jubilee to solve a locked-room mystery that has dire consequences for all mutantkind. Everyone is a suspect.

Serving as a capstone to the last year of X-Men storytelling and setting the stage for what's on the horizon, 'X-Men: The Hellfire Murder' #1 will be written and drawn by spectacular lineup of current X-Men creators including Jed MacKay, Gail Simone, Eve L. Ewing, Saladin Ahmed, Erica Schultz, Tony Daniel, Luciano Vecchio, Federica Mancin and more!

It's the friends we make along the way. ❤️
.
Friendships, whether deep and meaningful developed over the years or light and fluffy still being cultivated, is key to fighting loneliness and isolation. I read somewhere that connection without relationship feeds loneliness. That's why social media feels empty and creates a silo with toxic fumes. That's why we tend to be happier at conventions because we get to feed ourselves with a healthier diet of in-person real time engagement, intimacy, affection, intentional attention, and life giving words.
.
So another highlight for me this year are the people that I had moments with at comic cons. I'll try to tag as many as I can but know that 2025 would've been unbearable without time with you all.
