Very happy to have had my work featured on the @paintperspectivepodcast by @siegestudios showcasing the winners from @ironskulluk It was amazing to see the high-res photos of the winning pieces and to hear a little backstory about some of the winners. Thanks to @jamesotero_figureart , @paulkidd1977 and @wes_paints_ for their kind words about my silver trophy winning Crimson Court piece, can't wait for Iron Skull 2027! Here's the whole podcast on YouTube https://youtu.be/oB6np10GRiw?is=bTLBIr3mper0gMuZ Check out the video and let me know what your favourite pieces are #paintingcompetition #ironskull #paintperspective by @hellhound.paints
I did a thing! I managed to pick up a Bronze medal in the Standard Figure category and Silver in the Standard Creative Storytelling category at @fenmodelshow.ely I'm beyond grateful, had a fantastic time with new friends and not so new. Can't wait to see everyone and their work at future events. The standard of painting was amazing to see and has left me feeling incredibly inspired. Picked up many beautiful busts from some brilliant sculptors, watch this space... #fenmodelshow #paintingcompetition #award #warhammer #miniaturepainting by @hellhound.paints
Can't believe I actually did it!?!?! Very happy and proud to have won a silver trophy for my piece The Crimson Court at @ironskulluk Thank you to all the staff at @siegestudios especially @jamesotero_figureart for the advice @martin_fen_model_show_ you won enough, you don't need to claim mine too 😂 thanks for your feedback, it definitely helped me get this win #miniaturepainting #paintingcompetition #ironskull #warhammer #dungeonsanddragons by @hellhound.paints
Took a little break from painting this month, got back into it over the last couple of days with this piece for Orktober He's a Gutrippaz Boss, had a lot of fun with the basing and the colourful underpainting on this one. #orktober #kruleboyz #orks #warhammer #miniaturepainting by @hellhound.paints
For the greater good! Finally got around to uploading a timelapse of day 32 of painting 30 busts in 30 days, figured I'd give myself a couple of days off. Well done to everyone else who got featured. #fantasyfiguresinternational #miniaturepainting #fenmodelshow #bustpainting #miniatureart by @hellhound.paints
Alright, alright last one for this challenge I promise. I have plans for a full backdrop this guy, hence the golden angle being a side profile. Am I avoiding starting the Dark Angels Army commission? Maybe. I'll edit together the YouTube video when I get a chance. Driven mad by the challenge he set for himself, he could not stop the hand that held the paintbrush and began thinking in third person. Or he just got new paints and wanted to try them out. After the whole 30 busts in 30 days challenge, I found myself running low on paint. I've been eyeing up the @goldenpaints for quite a while so now is as good a time as any. I love the selection of paints in the Pop & Zing sets but I had to also grab a pot of my favourite pigment, Dioxazine Violet. Can't wait to crack these open and test them out. #paint #goldensoflat #miniaturepainting #bustpainting #paintaddict by @hellhound.paints
