A little bit about me!

I love reading, mainly romance and romantasy, but love a good thriller occasionally! My favorite trope is grumpy x sunshine, and I’m a sucker for a good cowboy romance!

I’ve created and ran a few creative businesses of my own, so I know all about the behind the scenes! I have always loved creating and have been honing my skills creating graphics and illustrations over the years.

Along with this I also have over 12 years of administrative experience (along with 4 years of accounting thrown in there).

I would love to work with creative small businesses, and authors! I have listed some of what I offer in these slides, but you can find my rates listed on my website at the link in my bio!

Per usual, I am a sucker for a Grumpy X Sunshine. I loved being in Griffin and Beverly’s world, I wasn’t sure how it was going to work with a puppeteer and a rock star, but Julia made it work so seamlessly! I found myself rooting for them to work out the whole time, and little Ava… I was obsessed with this little found family unit.

Griffin was so broody, but I loved how Beverly got to see his softer side, and also LOVED how they took care of each other.

I definitely felt the slow burn on this one, but the outcome was worth it! I loved this happy ever after and that epilogue *cue happy tears*!

4/5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The one where they’re both sad, but find light in each other, and I’m hooked. This book is for the ones who love found family, romantic suspense, angst, and when he falls first.

Daybreak releases tomorrow, July 28th!

This was a perfect ending to the duet. The angst between Ophelia and Alex was so good, and I couldn’t stop myself from rooting for them the entire time. While I love a romantic relationship, I really enjoyed Ophelia also finding her footing again in the world with her own group of friends as well.

The atmosphere of the book had me feeling like I was in the book with the characters walking through the rainy foggy Scottish Highlands (even as I read this in the sweltering heat of Summer). This duet would be a perfect read for the Fall!

Spice on this one was perfectly done, it added to the story without overtaking the plot. 2/5 spice level. (Also…the drawing class scene 🤤)

Yes, Chef - expected release date is July 21st, 2026 💛

This book was on my top TBR this year, I was sucked in by the beautiful cover and the premise sounded like fun! I wanted to love it, but it unfortunately fell a little flat for me.

The banter was fun, but at times the main MMC Jack was too harsh or just unnecessarily mean to the FMC Poppy, that it gave me the ick. Poppy was such a fun character, but I felt like she overlooked a lot of Jacks rudeness because he was “hot”, or he would be somewhat nice the next day. I found myself not getting fully invested in their relationship until closer to the end of the book for this reason. There was some character growth for both, but mainly on Poppy’s side.

The pacing was a little jumpy at the beginning but evened out towards the end. I’m a sucker for a HEA so the ending did pull me back in. I LOVED the side characters and the humor they brought to the book!

This book was a 3/5 on spice.

Overall I rated this 3/5 stars, unfortunately this one just didn’t hit for me, but could be a fun and quick Summer read for others!

I’ve been holding off on this book for awhile, but so glad I picked it up this week! Even though we’re fully in Summer right now, I felt all the dark Fall vibes with this one. The atmosphere was written soo well from the very start! I loved the dual POV, and was kind of obsessed with Vincenzo even as a side character! He was such a goober most of the time!

The way Alex was down bad for Ophelia from the start, not even knowing it right away. 😍🥵 I loooved the slow burn, the tension, the banter!

And then the mystery of who murdered her parents, along with the mystery of her stalker. Sooo good!

Highly recommend this for a Fall read, and book two comes out this month, so it’s perfect! 👌

“You and me, Alice Everly.”

One Golden Summer by Carley Fortune
10/10 no notes! This is the second book I’ve read by her and I loved them both! I laughed, I cried, I swooned, I fell in love with these characters. The golden retriever that Charlie Florek was, literally so obsessed. Highly recommend this for a summer read!

I really enjoyed this book, and felt all the angst and heartbreak for Sam and Percy! I decided to pick this one up with the hype around the tv series Every Year After coming out this month, and I was not disappointed. Although I’ve seen a lot of not great reviews on the tv show, so I’m a little nervous to watch now. 😬 If you’ve watched it let me know your thoughts!

This was a quick easy read, with second chance romance, coming of age, and dual timelines. Following Percy in the past summers in her youth to where she first met Sam, to her present where Sam is no longer part of her life after she made a huge mistake a decade prior, they are brought back together for one weekend during his mothers funeral.
