POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

wednesday marked 5 full years, half of a decade in the city of angels. here’s 19* random LA moments spanning back to the end of september 2021 when my dad and brother were leaving after moving me out here. what a wild ride the past several years have been. i’ve experienced the most treasured moments of my life, and the absolute worst rock bottom since moving halfway across the country with only a plan of where to rest my head and nothing more. it was relatively spontaneous, but a necessary jump in my growth as a person. there has been a painful amount of isolation in that growth, while simultaneously fostering many of the most deeply meaningful soul ties with some of the most incredible and talented people on this entire planet. thank you los angeles, thank you to every single person that has made a mark in my life since leaving milwaukee for the west coast 💋❤️ by @hello_dahlie

i went to forest hills and all i got was the soggiest feet of all time and THE FIRST PRINTS I’VE EVER NOT PRINTED MYSELF!! everyone go hire @martian.press these riso prints are so beautiful ! honestly on the verge of tears opening the box after my rainiest show since salt shed 2023. it’s a scary thing outsourcing fabrication to someone else after essentially 15 entire years of working mostly in linoleum block prints. these are nasa approved, and coming to cobblestones in the morning. 🥲🙂‍↕️💕 proud. by @hello_dahlie

Took me longer than usual to compile my favorite albums from last year because there were just too many solid releases I had to revisit. These albums were a welcome reprieve from the constant barrage of horrors coming from the world on a daily basis.

For once I actually can say I have a sure fire favorite, the album I listened to almost nonstop from the day of its release for months: Flock of Dimes - The Life You Save. Glad I got to catch her show at Zebulon last month, it was incredibly cathartic to see these songs performed live!

Playlist of these albums is up in my stories, hope you enjoy them ❤️ taken in Los Angeles, California by @hello_dahlie
