The uncomfortable truth about this industry: almost everyone is good now. Gorgeous portfolios. Beautiful florals. Seamless planning. Talent no longer sets you apart. It’s what gets you in the room. So what decides who books? Everything around the work, starting with the very first impression. Everyone’s talented. Now what? What does your first reply to an inquiry look like right now? by @hello_esmero
A couple sends one excited message. They get back a long PDF, a questionnaire and a link to book a call. That isn’t a reply. It’s homework. They came to you glowing. Meet them there. Say hello, show them their venue through your lens, and make the next step effortless. Stop sending homework. Send a hello. Launching soon. #weddingphotographer by @hello_esmero
The inquiry came in. You replied within the hour. Then nothing. It’s easy to call it ghosting. But most couples aren’t ignoring you. They’re comparing you to eight other vendors who sent the same PDF and the same “so excited for you two.” When every reply looks the same, nobody gets remembered. They’re not ghosting you. They’re forgetting you. That’s where ESMERO comes in. Launching soon. #weddingphotographer #weddingvideographer #weddingplanner #weddingpros by @hello_esmero
Hot take: the PDF price sheet is where bookings go to die. Your couple just spent weeks dreaming about their day. Then you send them a spreadsheet with a logo on it. Esmero turns your quote into a page they actually feel: your galleries, your story, your voice in a personal video, and a collection built just for them. Most vendors file the first reply under admin. Somewhere between invoices and answering emails. But a couple who just inquired isn’t a task. They’re deciding. Right now, with nine tabs open, they’re deciding who feels like the one. The first reply isn’t admin. It’s the audition. Something is coming for the ones who treat it that way. by @hello_esmero
