2022 was a year of firsts ✨✅ singing and VO for my first major studio animated feature film, Disney Pixar’s Turning Red✅ joined SAG-AFTRA and sang on-camera for Call Me Kat and grown•ish✅ sang off-camera for an episode of Atlanta✅ first audiobook, Brown and Gay in LA, for Spotify / Findaway Audiobooks✅ booked my first recurring VO dub with Disney+ (coming soon)Thank you to @encompassmusic @pgmvolist @queervoxacademy for the opportunities this year. wrote and produced this one in march of this year. all my releases so far have been collabs, so this one feels extra vulnerable. hold this with care. 💙this one’s about the cycles we sometimes find ourselves in.getting attached to people too afraid to commit but also too afraid to be alone. experiencing moments where it’s too painful to stay, but also too familiar to leave. where do we go from here? special thanks to the lovely humans who supported this project:@noahtaylorsongs for carving the musical spaces for this soundscape to live@srmastering for effortlessly polishing this record off@cre888mgmt and @staceyallyson for supporting the vision (and keeping me sane) as alwaysdeja vu out now 🔂🔂🔂 by @hellocolorgray
