Honestly—- there should be a “I am in my Loyalty Era” cause loyalty personally is 😮‍💨🙌🏽🤞🏼. And to be faithful and loyal to God in the midst of everything designed to pull us away—- that’s a beautiful character choice I’d like to acknowledge.

“When you need help, call me” -Jesus

Guys, this precious moment was caught on camera—- My little spiritual brother was so excited to tell me what happened at church.

These are the real moments that happen @bmchildrenshome and honestly across the world. I have witnessed it in many ways for 10/11 years now. AND I am beyond touched that this happened to be caught on camera because I was going to film a before and after of a bathroom remodel my pastor was doing at the children’s home.

After snack time he came into say hello and see what I was doing the fact that he even felt to do that was so precious to me AND THEN he started to tell me what Jesus did for Him at church. 😭 Among the purity and power of what Jesus revealed to him in this moment of healing his little tummy— I am personally praying parents can see children are more than capable of understanding the depth of God —- don’t think they need a watered down experience to understand God. They are more fresh out of heaven then you are and “the kingdom of heaven belongs to the little ones”.

My spiritual parents have raised us to HAVE RELATIONSHIP with Jesus and that’s why we encounter Him in such a real way whether we are 5 or 31.

Prayer our direct connection to God;

There is a moment in faith where your prayer life isn’t about what you want and need, your not consuming the spiritual connection with God to your one sided request but… a quiet rest… like an exchanging of breath happens it’s the confidence of intimacy; the knowing of a true relationship. Gods know what you need before you ask so, your prayer life becomes a space of receiving His words, insight and a heart posture to seek out His heart and will. Deep intercession for those in need can happen in this place.

We live in a world that is all about gratifying self, it’s exhausting and a waste of time when you begin to understand the bigger picture of love and unity.

God didn’t design us for Isolation—-

This is a good scripture to take a look at isolation and where it might be coming from… self protection can cause you to isolate and can be very dangerous for your soul— giving a space for lies like “you aren’t understood”, “you are a victim”, “no body cares about you” or other stories that make you feel unsafe and pull you away from those who care about you most.

One of my favorite revelations from with Holy Spirit— “don’t do the work of the enemy in your mind about the people you love and that love you.”

Having assumptions about people can be the start of isolation… asking questions is always best.

Whenever I notice myself isolating sometimes it’s a healthy reminder to check in on where my thought and mental focus have been; what stories am I believing and are my thought entertaining lies, is there any need to self protect right now.

Grateful for this sport.
I have spent about a third of my life playing volleyball. It’s taught me so much about discipline, teamwork, commitment. So many doors were opened through this gift; from national championships, traveling to different states and countries, jr. Olympic medals, my entire education being paid for 😭, playing with incredible athletes, enticing new cultures, mentally growing in ways I didn’t know were possible, pushing and learning new limits…

Looking back; I can see Gods hand in it all— I use to say I knew how to eat, sleep, breathe volleyball… when I experienced the goodness of God and gave my life to Jesus it was with volleyball God showed me so many miracles— healing my rotator cuff, my acl, my back pain, my broken finger, then He grew my faith and we saw teammates healed, then random people on the streets all because of His love; He was so nice and SO REAL.

I am just grateful; that even when I didn’t know God He was orchestrating everything and I sincerely have loved every part of my life. This sport in a way prepared me for when I became a missionary and then siren the next decade learning about a love so pure and beautiful.

When you look back; can you see the way God has pursued you?
