Long days, nonstop laughs & a crew that made this little work chapter way more fun than I ever expected 🥹 And yes, it WAS my mission to get a picture with every Archer Queen - mission accomplished 👏🏼😂

A pretty damn fun way to close out one chapter before starting the next ⚔️✨ #happylittleliz taken in The Headquarters at Seaport by @hellohappysoul

THE BEST PLANS USUALLY START WITH “WANT TO GO GET ICE CREAM?” 🍦💕

This week we stopped by the grand opening of Silver Hoof Creamery to celebrate the ribbon cutting, see the space for the first time, and of course enjoy a little ice cream ourselves 🤭

Now…we took our jobs very seriously.

We sampled every single flavor on the menu (strictly for research, obviously 😉) before somehow narrowing it down to just one cup and one cone. Safe to say, choosing favorites wasn’t exactly easy.

But what really stayed with us wasn’t just the ice cream, it was the story behind it.

Silver Hoof Creamery is inspired by an old fairy tale about a magical deer whose silver hoof scattered precious gems wherever it stepped. A reminder that sometimes the most unexpected moments become the ones you treasure most ✨

Honestly…that feels pretty fitting for Gals That Brunch.

Because sometimes all it takes is saying yes to a new place, a new event, or a conversation with someone you’ve never met for something really special to happen 💙

Everything here is made from scratch using real ingredients and 100% California dairy. No artificial flavors, no shortcuts - just ridiculously creamy ice cream the way it’s meant to be 🍦✨

And if you’re wondering why the soft serve is that smooth…their state-of-the-art machines were imported straight from Italy 🇮🇹🤌🏼

Safe to say, we’ll definitely be back.

In fact… we’re bringing the gals with us! 💙🍨

Join us for our Ice Cream Social at Silver Hoof Creamery on August 14th! Whether you come with a friend or show up solo, we’ll save you a spot (and probably convince you to order a second scoop 😉).

📍 Save this spot for your next Old Town adventure.
🍦 Tag the friend you’re grabbing ice cream with.
💕 Or better yet… come join us!

If you’re looking to make new friends in San Diego while discovering some of the city’s sweetest spots, Gals That Brunch hosts 20+ events every month.

We’ll save you a scoop 🥹🍦💕

One thing about us… we’ll never say no to a dog-friendly patio ☀️🐶
.

We stopped by @lazydogrestaurants during their patio promotion. Scotch got a free dog meal, a fresh bandana, and plentyyyyyy of attention from everyone walking by 🥰 I’d say that’s a successful lunch date ❤️🐾

Turns out, there’s a lot of joy to be found in the in-between 🤍

I’m still figuring out what’s next, but these past couple of months have reminded me that life doesn’t stop while you’re doing that. If anything, it’s given me the chance to slow down, spend more time with the people I love, meet some incredible new ones, and say “yes” to moments I might have otherwise missed.

And here’s to trusting that what’s next will be worth the wait ✨☀️ #happylittleliz by @hellohappysoul

Life has been a little full lately, but this was never something I was going to skip 🤍🐾

You’ve been with me through so many seasons of life: some easy, some really hard & somehow you’ve always known exactly how to be what I needed - a constant, a comfort, my little shadow through it all.

I don’t say it enough, but I am so grateful for you every single day. happy gotcha day, my Scotchy poo ❤️ #happylittleliz #happylittlescotch #gotchaday by @hellohappysoul
