Mama Tried weekend was a hell of a time. Frozen fingers, soaked shoes…and still 100% worth it. The bikes, the people, the energy…fucking unreal!!!

Already calling it now: next year I want more days, more bikes, and way more photos.

Happy October 1st!! 🎃🍂

My favorite month of the year is finally here. Give me chilly mornings, crunchy leaves, pumpkin patches, apple cider, scary movies, Halloween decorations and all those little things that make October feel like being a kid again.

I went to my first Open Doors yesterday.

Got to wander around the Calvary Chapel, built in 1899 and normally closed to the public. Old architecture, cemetery history and a camera… very much my thing.

Today is a really hard day. It’s my dad’s birthday, and he’s been gone for five years now. And on top of that, it’s a day we remember what happened on 9/11 and all the lives that were forever changed.

Last week during The RIDE Home, I got to photograph Tim Duffy, the FDNY firefighter who rode his Harley down to help on 9/11, and Allan Tannenbaum, who took the iconic photo of Tim on his bike.

It was already such a cool moment to get to photograph the two of them together, but looking at those photos today means a little more.

Just one of those days to remember the people we’ve lost, the people we love, and the people who showed up when it mattered. ❤️ by @hellojenellis

This was the best solo trip I’ve ever taken! I went to Detroit and back in less than 24 hours, which was a wild amount of driving, but SO worth it. I’ve been wanting to visit Third Man Records for years, and I finally just decided, why not? Got in the car and went.
