What a treat to help celebrate the 20th birthday for the fabulous local boutique @shop_pattino across the street from where I went to college & work. My girl @cmartsc thoroughly enjoyed seeing the new mural by @thecoldheartedco @thedogooddesigner with coordinating help by @eunicethelady who also captures the shop with her beautiful photography, then stopped in where I got a lovely cross bracelet followed by a delicious cookie by @besweetomaha & finally the best matcha drink ever by @qamarmatch.a ! Cheers to 20 years & to many more! Support your local businesses & share the love that they deserve! 🥳💜🙌🙏🎂💐✨ by @hellolivj

Painting finally happened. I made this during my church’s women’s ministries breakfast a couple weeks ago. It took me forever to finally get started since I felt stuck, my perfectionism was holding me back thinking I needed to have a subject in mind & execute it as intended. Then the idea of pouring a paint & water mixture was presented & that broke down my barrier. It was so refreshing to just pour & try not to let most of the mixture fall off the canvas for the most part then minimal brushwork. What do you see?

Flashback to this pin I designed for the International Pathfinder camporee last year. There were only 7,000 made. I’m curious…..if you attended it, did you get one? It was in the prayer tent.

Today’s @inktober prompt is “crown” & I’ve always loved the little & delicate crown from the 1981 Swan Lake cartoon. My 11-year-old daughter drew a crown on her own character. 👑 ✍️

Great start to the Adventurer Club year! I really enjoy helping out with activities each meeting & this year I’ll be with the Builders & Helping Hands (3rd & 4th graders).

Fun throwback fact: I was the creative lead designer for the curriculum 10 years ago! It was a huge undertaking & so much fun to work on! Praise God He can use my talents for growing His kingdom! 🙏💜🙌

School’s in session & kids are facing new challenges! Thankfully we have a big God who provides encouragement along the way.

Check out this children’s book I illustrated at @adventsource. Caleb is facing a giant in his life and isn’t sure how to defeat it. Find out what giant is in his life and how he conquers it just like how David conquers his giant, Goliath.

Wisconsin campmeeting last month was an absolutely amazing & blessed time! It was great to connect with friends, make new ones, attend wonderful & heartfelt presentations & plays, sing praises, & soak in the camping atmosphere that filled me with joy! I hope & pray to return again if I can! 🙌🙏💜 by @hellolivj
