I’ve kept my phone on airplane mode during this month of vacation. But I’m leaving it on for today just for the memes 🚀

5 years since I gave up the hustle & my life in LA for what’s known on 30A as “A Simple, Beautiful Life.”

I no longer have all the shiny things I once had. But I know what true wealth feels like. It’s not about the things I have or where I go, it’s about who’s on the journey with me.

Cheers to @youngcister for my official Song of Summer 2025 🎵 by @hellominnie1

Having a friend in Tokyo unlocks a level of access you don’t usually get as a tourist. It takes a lot of effort, energy & patience to play host/tour guide (especially here in Japan) so I don’t take this privilege for granted.

Thank you @mimi_jpn55 from the bottom of my heart for always going above & beyond for us
We are so lucky to know you

A ski resort with a karaoke room?!
Dream spot for our retreat. I think everyone should be playing instruments, singing, dancing, doing sound baths— any sound or movement that can raise your frequency & vibration in these crazy times we’re living in. Even if you’re not good, do it anyway

BTW we are available for weddings & parties, DM to book 🎤

We didn’t plan to be in this part of Hokkaido. But the Husband knows I ❤️ ski towns even though I don’t really ski anymore. When he suggested the last minute change to see Mt Yotei (an active stratovolcano!) and do our retreat week here, I was thrilled.

Hokkaido not only has some of the best milk, potatoes & seafood in the world, we were told that the finest, most dry powdery snow in the world falls here.
Not sure we’ll see any but it’s beautiful as is. by @hellominnie1

I made the pilgrimage for 2 specific reasons:
1) the protection & good health of my loved ones
2) to bury the old version of me

Like I said, this month in Japan is very different than my last visit. I’m no longer seeking out spiritual leaders to guide me through my retreat this week
I am the leader 🧘🏻‍♀️🗡️

I was wearing a t-shirt when we flew out of Osaka because it was sunny & 80. People said it would be cooler fall weather in Sapporo but pleasant 😑
This sums up my life in 2026

Anyone who’s been to our home in San Francisco knows I love owls. But not all the owls in Japan love me. Which is fine because as I often say, I’m not for everyone 😆🦉

I was so sad when the Husband said it would be best to cancel our trip to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in December. That’s when we decided our final trip of 2026 would be the return to Japan. Over the last few months, I had a lot of “what ifs” in my head.
But wandering around Gion and coming across Picachu sitting in the passenger seat erased them all

Thank you to whoever owns this car, you put smiles on a lot of faces today. The 🌎 needs more of this vibe right now

I’ve always been somewhat overprotective of my inner circle. But in this 2nd half of 2026, energetically I’m on high alert. I’ll swing the meteor hammer at the slightest hint of danger or threat with no warning ☄️🔨
