@holatapasbar was the perfect date night I didn’t know I needed 💃🏻 We loved experiencing all the different flavors. My favorites were the goat cheese and pork 😋
Their sangria is also delicious. They have a bar area with a handful of high tops, a small indoor dining room, and an outdoor patio. I don’t know if I’d come here with my kids (picky eater) but I appreciated the changing table in the restroom 👍🏻 Reservations are recommended.

Move over Nothing Bunt Cakes, there’s a new tiered mini dessert option in San Antonio!

I love mini dessert packages for holidays or easy gifts and now we have @buttermilkskypieshop with their tiered mini pies! These are so cute and a yummy gift idea, or you could just treat your self (like me 😋). The 4 pack of mini pies (flavors of your choice) is $18. The 4 flavors I tried in order from my favorite to least…I-40, peanut butter cup, chocolate cream, and key lime. It was really hard to share these. If you have trouble sharing you could also buy a whole size pie!

@carriquitx has my senses on high with their beautiful aesthetics and delicious food 😍 I highly recommend the curandero for a cocktail and the ceviche as an appetizer 😋 Also, I took WAY too many photos by their beautiful fountain 😂 Check my stories to see one!

The new gorgeous location for @earlybirdcoffee.sa has been open for a minute and I finally got to stop by and see this beautiful spot. I am not 100% sure what they made me but it was delicious! I think it was an Americano horchata pumpkin spice. Something like that. Whatever it was, it’s amazing! Thanks for letting me a take a couple of coffee shots that finally allowed me to use this audio I’ve been dying to use 🤣😂

Delicious dining with golf views located at the @lacanteraresort 🏌🏻‍♀️🍔

Last week I enjoyed the restaurant week lunch menu at @grille254 . Although restaurant week is over, you can still enjoy their regular menu. We had the salad (not pictured), Mac n cheese bites, honey habanero fried chicken sandwich, bourbon burger, 254 mud pie, and cheesecake bites. If you like spicy I suggest the chicken sandwich. My fav! 😋

The burger I’ve had so many times but I’ve never posted about 😋

Let me introduce you to my favorite burger….Say hello to the Blue Fox Burger 🍔 🦊 Just thinking about it makes me drool a little 🤤 I have been in love with it since @thehoppymonk_sa first opened.

The combination of the beef, blue cheese sauce, cider poached pears, arugula, and walnut aioli are heaven. I don’t even know how to describe it to you. Maybe a super meaty charcuterie board? 😂 For those wondering, the blue cheese flavor isn’t overwhelming. I am a big fan of blue cheese. Here it adds a little tart to the sweetness of the other flavors. Make sure to pair it with their fries and red pepper aioli sauce (also a fav of mine). My husband is a fan of their Bacon & Egg Burger. Another excellent choice if you don’t want to take a chance on the blue cheese.

Build your own Mediterranean bowl 🥙

I am totally in love with @cava because it finally replaces a hole in my foodie heart. Not sure if anyone remembers but we use to have a place called Garbanzos that had a build your own Mediterranean plate and I was obsessed! Sadly, the quality really went downhill and it eventually closed down. It was a wonderful option for my lunches. Now I have something even better! 😊

@cava already has 4 locations in San Antonio. They have a menu you can order off of or you can build your own bowl, salad, and pita. I opted for the build your own bowl (my exact order listed below). Hubby went with the Spicy Lamb Meatball from the menu. Baby girl had the kids beef pita. Have you tried @cava yet? Any recommendations for my next visit? I promise you the calories are worth it 😋

Yesterday I had the pleasure of trying out a new food truck in San Antonio where everything was delicious and made from scratch 👩🏻‍🍳 @thebakedbirdsa is a micro hash house specializing in breakfast, baked goods, and coffee 🍳🥐☕️
.

We enjoyed “The Yolkster” (pic 1, 2 & video) an “Eggs Benny” Sammich with a scratch made English muffin, over easy egg, hollandaise, and your choice of bacon or sausage. Even the description made me drool 🤤 and it was so worth getting my hands messy!
.
We also had “The Dirty South” (pic 2 & 3) which is homemade country style sausage gravy, scratch made muffin, over easy egg, cheese & pico. Sooo good! This was my husbands favorite out of the two. Lastly, we also had “The Smashed Potatoes” (pic 4) we were kinda full by the time we got to them. I thought they were going to be actually “smashed” potatoes but they were still yummy.
.
We also needed a pick-me-up after our night of wine tasting and hatchet throwing. So we also ordered 2 lattes. I had the “Orange 43” latte, aka “The Oklahoma City” drink. We gave it that nickname after the owner, Jen, told us the story behind it. Hubby had the “Token Irishman” latte. Both were the perfect pick-me-up. 😋
