Happy Lantern Festival! Today we celebrate new beginnings! We're so happy to announce the opening of MUKA's very first permnent location inside Catching Stars Tattoo Studio 🥳🥳🥳🎉🎉🎉

Huge congratulations are also in order for our very own Anita for the grand opening of her dream studio. Watching this space come to life has been so special, and we’re so proud of you!!!

🎭 Supercrawl 2026 🎨

And that's another year @supercrawl !

It was the debut of @catchingstarstattoo and a long held tradition for @hellomuka. As always I took some time out to check out the many cool installations, galleries, vendors and food that were available during this 3 day event.

This is the last outdoor event for @hellomuka this year but as always what a high note to send it in 🫶

For anyone that missed us we actually gave a cute little home inside @catchingstarstattoo if you wanted to shop with us year round or come by to swap a pin on our pin trade board~

What makes you feel empowered?

This is the question we asked ourselves when designing this "Believe Survivors" enamel pin for @ywcacanada

We wanted this pin to be an emblem of strength and solidarity, so we designed it like a floral coat of arms drawing inspiration from vintage botanical illustrations. A small pin can be a quiet act of care that says "I see you, I believe you, you’re safe with me."

Every design is meaningful. That’s the MUKA way.

In honour of the CNY season we're doing a recap on one of our favourite pins : the Lucky Tassel pin.

This pin design was inspired by traditional Chinese knots called Zhong Guo Jie 中国结, a millenias-old craft and one of the most enduring symbols of Chinese history and culture.

We toppled the traditional knot design with some new elements. The top knot subtly forms rabbit ears as a nod to the Year of the Rabbit, the year this design was born. The tassel at the bottom is based on the ginseng root, a super important ingredient in traditional Chinese medicine.

We have been working hard behind the scenes with @hellomuka to create these amazing stickers for the Hamilton Chinese Association.

We have so many ideas and plans for 2025 and want to start fundraising for HCA. We appreciate each and everyone one of you who have come to our events this year and we cannot thank you enough for the support.

All the proceeds from these stickers will be used for funding HCA activities. We only have a small amount printed so these are limited editions.
