The MoMA Pattern Skyline range is now available at @momadesignstore!

We recently worked with MoMA Design Store to create the Pattern Skyline Range, and after decades of designing for their iconic Holiday Card range, seeing this range come to life is a full-circle moment!

I wanted to share some behind the scenes and intimate photos from a project that feels especially rewarding to see come to life.

We visited the new Day Surgery Unit at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, where we created the artwork-led interiors with CW+ and Hunters as well as our interior installation partners, kwickscreen.

From developing the botanical artwork and colour ways to seeing the designs installed throughout the unit, it’s been such a special project to be a part of. Bringing creativity to a space where it has such a powerful impact was an honour, and only reinforced how important art is in spaces you may not think at first.

I particularly love seeing the detail up close, the layered privacy screens, way finding and leafy canopy ceiling panels, and, most importantly, seeing how those individual elements come together in the finished space.

There’s something very special about visiting a project in person once it’s complete. You get to experience the work in the way it was intended, rather than just seeing it on a screen, and see how much of a difference thoughtful design can make to a space and the people using it. Experiencing the unit first hand showed me how immersive it is, I was able to imagine the positive impact it’ll have on patients and family members which felt so meaningful and up-lifting.

We had the pleasure of creating the artwork-led interiors for the new Day Surgery Unit at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.

Working with @cwpluscharity and @hunterslondon , we developed a nature-led scheme that brings botanical artwork, colour and light throughout the unit.

One of the things we loved about this project was finding ways to make the practical details of a healthcare environment feel more considered and creative, rather than purely functional. Privacy screening became layered botanical artwork and cabin numbers and colour ways became part of the way finding.

We know that healthcare spaces can sometimes feel clinical, and that people using them may naturally feel anxious. Bringing nature into the space can help make a calmer, softer and more welcoming atmosphere.

So while everything here has a practical purpose, we wanted the space to feel like more than that: brighter, more thoughtful and, ultimately, more human.

For us, this is what design making a difference looks like!

We’d like to say a huge thank you to @kwick.screen, our interior installation partners, this project was such a success and we are so grateful for their contributions to bringing it to life!

In addition, we’d also like to thank Morgan Parrack from @hunterslondon and the team, for creating such a wonderful and inspiring space as a canvas for us to show what a huge impact design can have in healthcare environments.

We enjoyed collaborating with @whsmithofficial to create this collection of floral stationary, bringing our botanical print designs to notebooks, journals and organisers.

Inspired by the beauty of an English garden, each pattern was designed to feel fresh, timeless and full of colour. Alongside are our festive designs, all matching one another to ensure all the chaos of Christmas stays organised!

The Last Dance is Peagreen’s thoughtful funeral collection, offering families a beautiful and uplifting choice at the end of life.
