I believe that good things take time.

Acting will always be my first love, but I later fell in love with directing naturally. My late mentor Richard Harden was the first person who urged me to explore it. Theatre & film gave me an outlet to express myself and reflect in ways nothing else could compare to. High school was difficult and entering my 20s was even more confusing. I found solace in acting, studying the craft and committed to the lifelong exploration of what makes us human. In turn, it helped save some of the best parts of me. The honest but sometimes painful parts. The beautifully vulnerable and open Sam that I constantly try to remember and never forget. The adventurous spirit I forever seek. To see past my insecurity and judgement. To not get stuck in how things are or how they used to be, but make room for not only dreams but for presence. The gift of being here, of being alive, what’s around us and able to pursue something that feels intrinsically me. Or something that simply makes sense.

My hope is to always stay creatively fulfilled, to never get too scared from trying and stay open. And when things get overwhelming and confusing, I hope to always find my way back to somewhere that feels like home.

I’m grateful to be a part of each of these projects that helped me grow as an artist. Thank you to everyone who collaborated on it, for your trust and support.

Saint Vegas @saintvegasfilm, the short film I wrote & directed with an incredible team behind it is off to the festival circuit!

I can’t wait to share what we’ve been working on in the new year. A lot of love and good energy was put into it.

Here’s to fulfilling & creative work—to keep seeking it, fighting for it and embracing it when it comes ✨

@saintvegasfilm reaches its last leg of film festivals!

Saint Vegas will have its final screening at Diwa Filipino Film Festival @diwafilmfest in Seattle, Washington on October 3-4, 2026.

This feels like the perfect ending.

From premiering at @vcmediaorg in Los Angeles, internationally screening twice in the Philippines hosted by @cinebalikbayan and @rift.edsa Beneath the Surface short film series and showing at various fests on the East Coast including @bushwickfilmfest, @imaginethiswomensfilmfestival, @sohofilmfest and @charlotteasianfilmfestival — this has been a fulfilling journey which would not be possible without the artists’ who helped create it and supporters who made this possible.

Shout out to all the programmers who gave us a home.

If you aren’t able to join us in Seattle, I hope to make Saint Vegas available online in the near future ✨

These bags were designed as an homage to our parents and the region they come from. We explored this through different dialects of the word ‘delicious’.

How do you say ‘delicious’ in your dialect/language?

To my favorite person,

I just love you. Thank you for loving me the way you do.
Your love is gentle, patient, understanding and unconditional. It’s a familiar love that I haven’t felt in a long time. Thank you for choosing me every single day to be the person you’re in this wild ride with. Happy anniversary! 🫦

I’m so grateful.

Thank YOU!

We are filled with gratitude for the new customers and our regulars for the constant support.

A little bit about us ♥️

We are Trish & Sam. A home cook with a decade in health care hailing from Pampanga and Pangasinan & an artist born and raised in NYC by way of Manila and Bicol.

Together we make ‘Tikman Mo Ko’ TASTE ME.

We started as a pop-up in our beloved friends’ tattoo and hair/beauty shop at Fait Maison @_faitmaisonofficial in Newark, NJ.

We hope to continue growing and serving you food that brings both comfort and joy.
