This is old news- But the show is up until November 21st! So you still have time to catch it. A crazy textile piece I made is up at the RAM Wustum Art museum in Racine. Along with my daughter Opal’s painting!! (Painted at 14 years old!) Proud mama. My piece began at an amazing retreat held by @zakfoster.quilts Check out the show https://www.ramart.org/event/handcrafted-ram-community-art-show/
Included is another show favorite of mine. by @hellosiz

Cringe alert! This is from August. Eek. Been a while since I posted. I had a rough summer. I’m going to try and get up to speed with my self inflicted exposure therapy to post all of my portrait paintings. I did a little experiment with the trendy hot pink underground and was not so happy with the results. But… I was also feeling quite crummy with a migraine that night. Anywho. This is Gnally. Who was an amazing model!!! I so wanted to get the whole body pose on the canvas, and failed. Not their fault! @gnallyboukar thanks for posing! by @hellosiz

I’d love to paint you! Text me if you are interested.
If you’ve posed before and would like to do it again, I’m looking for some folks who would do some longer poses. Maybe 2 or 3 nights of the same pose. by @hellosiz

It was hot hot hot in the studio. 🥵🥵🥵And I had a terrible migraine and thought I might 🤮 BUT the pose was too good and I wanted to paint! (Too bad I didn’t do it justice) Coincidentally- I then heard someone else just speak of this book. I’ll need to add it to my growing pile. by @hellosiz

It’s been a bit since I posted. This summer’s been rough. Chronic migraines are a mother fucker. Screens are not my friend. by @hellosiz
