MAJOR TOM: IN A MINUTE ⏱️

MAJOR TOM Desktop is a 6-track CV/gate sequencer designed for intuitive rhythmic and polyrhythmic patterns. It combines a classic 16-step layout with parallel triplet steps. Its ergonomic design features 3 performance controls and a colored button per track for maximum playability.
🔸
Each track offers independent, on-the-fly control:
• Colored Button: selects the active track.
• VAR Knob: instantly switches between 10 saved sequence variations.
• LAST STEP Knob: changes track length dynamically from 16 to 1 step.
• SHIFT Knob: finely delays the individual sequence.
🔺
Program triplets simultaneously with normal steps (located on the outer orbits of the 16-step circle) to instantly create complex, groovy rhythms, tweakable live with the large knob.
Once written, you can change the pattern on the fly using the large knob.
🔹
Every step allows independent gate modulation for length, amplitude, and fragmentation, plus a quantized CV.
It is ideal for percussive techniques like ping filters, strike LPGs, and trig resonators.

Marvellous Catz started just as a game, from the idea of setting up a space where we could create, experiment and share the things we love most.
Lately, though, we’ve realized that the project was spontaneously evolving into something greater.
New projects started coming in, among with collaborations, performances, music production and more.
Not least, all the people whom have become part of our journey and whom we’re grateful for involving us in their projects and/or for making themselves available to help turn our ideas into reality.

Over the past year, we simply realized how Marvellous Catz had become far too small as a container for what we had in mind. Not because there was anything wrong about it, but simply because we are growing.

That’s why Marvellous Catz is now becoming Studio Faüna.

We don’t see it as a new beginning, but rather as a natural follow up of a journey that started a few years ago.
We’re incredibly grateful for ALL the trust and enthusiasm you’ve put into this project, and we hope this new adventure, just as Marvellous Catz did, may bring fresh energy along the way.

We’ll keep sharing the instruments and music that cross our path, but now in wider space where to develop other projects as they take shape and come to life.

So, a BIG THANKS to whom has been following us over the years and a warm welcome to those who have just joined us.
See you very soon ❤️

We LOVE alien things. So when we saw the @stylophone_official ‘s Theremin, it was love at first sight 👽💕
An object that kind of looks like a toy but the moment you turn it on, it becomes a machine for weird space sounds 🛸
🔸
The Stylophone Theremin is incredibly fun: it lets you create sci-fi effects, drones, and strange melodies in a super intuitive way.
It’s immediate, creative, and perfect for experimenting.
Extra points for the built-in effects! ✨
🔺
Rather than aiming for the precision of a traditional Theremin, this one is all about spontaneity and playful exploration.
The lightweight, portable build gives it more of a creative gadget vibe than a studio instrument and honestly, that’s part of the charm 🪐
.
In short:
🔺 fun, accessible, creative
🔸 perfect for quick ideas, experimentation, and pretending to be aliens (we definitely do 👽)
.
Huge thanks to @stylophone_official for sending us this incredibly fun little instrument ❤️

When your sound starts to bloom🌻🐝
🔺
The Pollinator Hazee Delay by @beetronics is an expressive pedal filled with evolving delay textures.
At its core lies a modulated delay, where each repeat is shaped by either filter or tremolo (depending on the mode) letting every echo bloom, shift, and grow beyond the boundaries of traditional delay.
🔻
Let your echoes grow wild 🌻

We’re back! ✌🏻Kicking off 2026 with a little shoutout to @supercoolpedals 🔺🔶🔵🔻🟢

We got the Triniphase last year and it quickly became our go-to whenever we need something with real character. It’s been part of our setup ever since.

Enjoy our stop-motion experiment with a pedal we truly can’t get enough 💘
