Happy book birthday to Delicate Fury! My baby, my pride and joy, my heart and soul.

A year ago today was both the most terrifying and rewarding day of my life. Terrifying because so many of my peers, teachers, friends, and family members were suddenly so interested in my journey as a self-published author. But rewarding because through those conversations, I received an unimaginable amount of congratulations, support, and love. Of course, I also sold so many copies of my book.

Statistics have shown that only about 10% of self-published authors sell over 100 copies of their book in its lifetime. Before I reached the one week mark, I’d sold over 100 copies. That never would’ve happened without the gift of all your support. Because of you all, Delicate Fury beat the odds. It reached the hands and hearts of more people than I thought possible.

Thank you to everyone who bought a copy of Delicate Fury and reposted on their social media. Thank you to everyone who’s read it cover to cover and left thoughtful reviews. Ratings and reviews on Amazon are so helpful in boosting sales!! And thank you to everyone currently reading Delicate Fury. I hope you love it.

I’ve said it numerous times before, but Delicate Fury is for you all. To everyone who read it, I hope that some part of it connected to you. I hope it made you feel a little more heard and understood. Delicate Fury, at its core, is a bridge from my heart to the characters to yours.

Thank you thank you thank you!!

On October 28, 2021, I finished the very first draft of my book Delicate Fury (swipe for the throwback). Four years later and I’m now a self-published teen author.

I still can’t believe that I released my book for the world to read. What’s even crazier is that I sold more copies than I ever imagined, especially within the first week of publication!

I will always be so grateful for the people who supported me in April during the release. But I will never forget the family and friends who encouraged me 4 years ago when my book was simply an idea.

I don’t think people realize the impact of supporting another person’s passions. I experience the tail end of that impact every day when someone tells me they read my book, that it helped them feel a little understood. It means the world to me. Thank you.

Anyways, happy 4 years to the pursuit of my passion and your support of it! It’s been the best 6-7 months since I gave it to all of you ❤️ by @hellosydneytkwrites

Delicate Fury is officially on sale on Amazon!!!

This book is truly a product of my heart and soul, and it’s been over 3 years in the making. The first book I wrote (but didn’t finish) was inspired by #wingsoffire by Tui T. Sutherland. I was 8 years old, had no idea what I was doing, but I possessed a deep drive and a beautiful passion. That unfinished story was eventually molded into bits and pieces of the foundation for what has become Delicate Fury.

From the start, I have received more love and support than I could’ve ever imagined. My family, my friends, and all of you who have followed my journey for so long. Thank you for your patience, your encouragement, and all your love.

Since the beginning, I’ve always said that Delicate Fury is dedicated to all of you. What matters most to me is that some aspect of this book makes you feel a little more heard and understood. I want to connect with my readers, from my heart and soul to yours.

I can’t believe Delicate Fury is officially a published novel, and it’s even more surreal to think I’m officially a published author!!! It’s thanks to all of you, and I’m forever grateful.

I hope you enjoy reading Delicate Fury!! Please tag me in your posts and stories when you receive your copy!!!!!
