Comment “helm” if you’re ready to finally bring that film project to life.

I spent years learning how to make films, and somehow that still didn’t make it easier to actually get my own films made.

I went to film school. I worked on sets. I directed projects. I learned the terminology, the process, all of it.

But there was this completely different part nobody really taught me how to navigate: what happens when it’s your film, your decisions, your constraints, and you have to keep the project moving all the way to finished.
And I kept seeing really talented filmmakers stuck in that exact gap, with films they genuinely wanted to make just sitting there.

That’s honestly why I built Helm.

I wanted to create something that could meet you wherever your film actually is, help you figure out what matters next, and help you keep moving without taking over any creative decisions.

Really, I just want to see more filmmakers actually making and finishing their films.

I BUILT AN APP! AHH!

After so many conversations with filmmakers, I kept seeing the same thing: the number one problem usually isn’t a lack of knowledge.

Many filmmakers already know, at least generally, how a film gets made, especially once they’ve gone through school or an initial education of some sort.

The harder part is actually getting your film made when the money, time, crew, locations, confidence, or circumstances are not perfect (which is almost always the case in indie filmmaking).

That’s why I built HELM: Filmmaker OS.

HELM meets you wherever your film actually is and helps you figure out what needs to happen next based on your project, your time, and the resources you realistically have right now.

Whether you’re still choosing what to make, deep in pre-production, trying to get through the shoot, or sitting on footage you still need to finish, the goal is the same: keep the film moving (and actually finish it!!)

You make every creative decision. You are the filmmaker. This is just a tool to help you go out there and make more work!!!

Because my number one goal is to help more filmmakers actually get out there and make their projects.

Comment “HELM” and I’ll send you the link to get started.
