Three lessons I continue to learn as an artist✨

1. NOT A SINGLE SITUATION SHOULD BE AN EXCUSE TO YOUR CREATIVITY.
No situation is ever perfect. Time is less, resources are limited, plans change. But an artist learns to create anyway. Every challenge is simply another opportunity to discover a new solution.

2. THE ‘WE’ SHOULD ALWAYS BE AS IMPORTANT AS ‘ME’ (MOST OF THE TIMES, EVEN MORE).
Every choreography, every performance, every moment on stage is never a solo journey. Your dance team is your biggest strength. Behind every artist stands a quiet army, students, parents, well-wishers, mentors, and most importantly your Guru who celebrate you with the purest love. Their unseen efforts make your spotlight possible.

3. ONLY DANCING WELL DOESN’T MAKE YOU A GOOD ARTIST.
Over the years, I’ve realised that an artist must also be a manager, planner, and leader. From scripts and anchoring to music, coordination, students, parents, and organisers. All of these are equally essential. An artist has to carry these responsibilities with ease, while still stepping on stage and giving their best performance.

Because in the end, art is not just about talent.
It is about responsibility, collaboration, and dedication.

And the learning… never stops. 🌸
