Today I ran my first ever 5K.🥳 Lately life has been forcing me into a transition that I never asked for. One that broke parts of me down mentally, emotionally and spiritually…all at once. There were days I felt lost, unmotivated, and disconnected from myself. But somewhere in all of that, I realized I needed to start choosing myself again. Slowly and Intentionally. Im Grounding myself more. Meditating. Protecting my energy. Practicing healthier habits. Spending more time with my thoughts instead of running from them. Trying to reconnect with God, with peace, and with the version of me that still believes there’s something bigger waiting on the other side of all this. I’m learning that rebuilding your life starts with rebuilding your relationship with yourself. This is just another side quest. More to come. 🏃🏾‍♂️💨🥇🤍 taken in Detroit, Michigan by @hemanpostcards

POSTCARD FROM 30. Today I Turn 30.🎈There’s a grief no one prepares you for…the grief of becoming a stranger to your own life. I lost things I thought were permanent. I watched doors close that I prayed would stay open. I learned that sometimes God removes you from places you begged to stay because your purpose can’t grow where your comfort lives. Maybe growth isn’t glamorous. Maybe it looks like starting over quietly while everyone else thinks you have it together. Maybe faith is choosing to walk forward when you don’t understand why everything had to change. There’s a loneliness that comes with outgrowing a life while everyone else still recognizes you as who you used to be. The ocean brings me stillness. Its funny how God has a way of slowing you down to save you from a life that looked good but felt drowning. Always Remember The show will go on, With or without you there.
