Hello, I’m alive and I’m headed out to Texas for San Japan this week (attached is a map of my location on the floor) and here is my list of September and October events. I hope to see you out there! (I will have my new Raven/howl fans with me for San Japan) #sanjapan #sanjapan2026 by @hemask

Since it’s my first time going to San Diego comic con and I have 4 feet of space and a lot of stuff I wanted to post a little Catalogue of what I will be bringing (I also have a ton of stickers and ran out of time to put them all in the digital catalogue but they will be there). I will be at Artist Alley Table AA-15. I will have print outs of this at my table too. #sdcc #sdcc2026 #helenmask by @hemask

Okay 5 hours of inking done! This is a back burner piece I’ve slowly started working on. Around the candle flame the planets will be rotating and I will have little creatures tucked into the fantasy flowers. (Creatures from alchemy, fire salamander, basilisk, ouroboros) each fantasy flower will be inspired by one of the elements (air, fire, water, earth) it’s my Alchemic Vase. I wanted to figure out how to reclaim the exercise of drawing still life scene, but make it magic) #helenmask #helenmaskillustration #artnouveaustyle #artnouveau by @hemask

Hello new followers! Thank you for so much for all the love and support this weekend at #sanjapan I can’t tell you how grateful I am. I figured I would share with you some work in progress pics. (I made a green fairy sticker last year and I really wanted to work on a full piece, So here if the beginning sketch of her. ) All my pieces start off as a pencil sketch on smooth Bristol. #artnouveau #artnouveaustyle #helenmask #helenmaskillustration by @hemask

My Parade of Fools is done! I will have it at #sdcc (artist alley AA-15) this week and #gencon (Art Show table 1) next week (and hopefully I will have in online to purchase in the next week). I had the idea for this piece back in 2019 and just did not have the time to be able to tackle it. I told myself in January I would give myself the gift of finishing this piece. This piece is dedication to my sisters and the silly fun adventures we had as kids. I am already ready to work on my next big complicated personal projects. ( I have a Baba Yaga print and a Green Fairy print in there works) so hang in there and I will take you on another work in progress journey. #artnouveau #helenmask #fool by @hemask

Thank you so much New Orleans! It was so wonderful to meet so many lovely people. I am excited to be with the lovely folks for @bloodofgodszine this coming Saturday July 18th in walla walla Washington! I just finished inking my crow piece I’ve been working on while stuck in Dallas. (Sometimes a delay is the best way to get some complicated inking done) the feathers and the nest took me 3 and half hours to finish 🫠 I should have this piece colored and ready to go for the blood of the gods event. #artnouveau #helenmask #crow #bird by @hemask

Rough sketch! I have been working on a series of cats on fancy chairs. (They are going to be made into stickers and then I will probably do a big print with all of them) but here are the first 5! #cats #artnouveau #helenmask #helenmaskillustration #alphonsemucha by @hemask

The fans are here!! I decided to a double sided fan, (so it makes it a bit bulkier). But I think the more use your fan gets the easier it will be to close. I have also made some cute new patches. I’m working on a series of unlucky objects so to kick it off the illuminated 13 and the shattered mirror. They are now available in my shop (link in bio) #helenmask #helenmaskillustration #artnouveau #victorian #pdxart by @hemask
