A reel to my younger self❤️

When I was younger, I looked at the future with fear and uncertainty. I didn’t know if I could ever fully be myself — or if the life I dreamed of was even possible.

Today, I look back at little Hemy and I just want to tell him: it does get better. 🌈

From walking down the aisle with my husband, to stepping onto the Mr Gay GB stage, to simply living openly — I’ve found a life I never thought I’d have.

I’ve learnt that we are not just passengers in life, but the authors of our own stories — the directors of our own lives. And this is the story I choose to tell: one of love, pride, and hope — for myself and for others.

This was such an emotional reel to make 💭 If you’re watching this and you’re still wondering if there’s hope, know this: your story is only just beginning. 💕

Happy London Pride! 🏳️‍🌈

Twelve years ago, before I came out to my family, I never thought I’d get to live this life.

Today I’m married to the love of my life, more comfortable in my own skin than I ever imagined, and proud of who I am.

It wasn’t always easy, and I know that for many people it still isn’t.

So if you’re reading this and you’re not there yet, I hope this reminds you that your story isn’t finished.

Take your time. Stay safe. But know there’s a version of your life where you don’t have to hide who you are.

Happy Pride. You deserve to be seen❤️

I’m really having the time of my life, and I almost didn’t even realise it...

Since meeting Sundeep I take videos of everything. The small moments, the big ones. The last few years have dwarfed the whole decade before them. I think back to my 20s and wonder where the time went — it just flew.

So now I record it all, mostly for my older self to look back on. It grounds me. It reminds me how far I’ve come, and it slows the clock down.

Take more videos. Take more pictures. Slow down, look around, and notice how far you’ve come🥰

What was the best part of my South Korea trip? It wasn't a place.

It was this. 6am at Seokchon Lake, the city still half-asleep, and the person I'd choose all over again sitting quietly beside me.

For a long time I wasn't sure a morning like this was something I'd get to have. A sunrise, nowhere to be, and him. If you're still waiting on yours — it comes.
