There can be no specific day to start helping. No better day than today. No better time than NOW.
Let’s do our small bit to make big difference in many lives….

Lakhs of people. One Ramlila Maidan. We didn’t ask who they voted for.

Today Hemkunt Foundation did what we always do: langar, water and a hand on the shoulder for everyone who walked in. We don’t check a flag, a party or a religion before we serve. Hunger doesn’t have a political background, so neither does langar.

Guru Nanak’s kitchen has no gate. Wherever the crowd gathers, the langar follows.

The largest Gurudwara Sahib in MP✅
Onto the next sewa, which shall be bigger in scale by @hemkunt_foundation

Eight years ago this was an empty field in Madhya Pradesh. Today it is a Gurukul on 25 acres, where children learn Gurbani, kirtan, gatka and skills, all free.

The final building, the Darbar of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, was inaugurated today. The sangat filled it, and the children’s voices filled it more. That’s what all these years were for.

Thank you to every sewadar, donor who walked this road with us. The Gurukul isn’t finished. It’s only beginning. by @hemkunt_foundation

After 8 years of sewa, the Hemkunt Foundation Gurukul is complete.

Spread across 25 acres, this sanctuary of education now has its final building: the Darbar of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. It was inaugurated today with a kirtan samagam and the bhog of Akhand Path Sahib.

We were blessed by the Head Granthi of Takht Sri Hazur Sahib, Singhs of Damdami Taksal, and over 5,000 sangat.

Thank you to every donor, volunteer and well-wisher who walked this journey with us. This Gurukul was built by the sangat, for the next generation. by @hemkunt_foundation
