Sometimes I wish I could just ask time to slow down.

Watching Molly Kate grow up is one of the greatest blessings of my life, but somehow it all feels like it’s happening way too fast. One minute she’s this tiny little girl in my arms, and the next she’s growing, learning, talking, laughing, and becoming more of her own little person every single day.

I know I can’t stop the clock, but some days I sure wish I could.

I want a few more of the little hugs. A few more “Daddy” moments. A few more times carrying her when she’s tired. A few more days where her hand still fits so perfectly inside mine.

I’m so proud of the little girl she’s becoming, but I’m in no hurry for her to grow up.

Slow down, time. I’m trying to soak up every second of being Molly Kate’s daddy. ❤️

You can’t win with @allenhenard1 in an argument. He was saying a batter hasn’t always been out on a 3rd strike bunt. I pull this up & he says, “I’m right because in 1893 they weren’t out!” 😑😑😑 taken in Weatherford, Texas by @henardaustin
