Bogota Part 8Our final day! 😩1. We took a looooong stroll through Distrito Graffiti (one of Latin America’s largest legal outdoor street art galleries where massive murals transform industrial walls into colourful works of art) and played out version of “Where Is Waldo”. Try to find us…😜2. Then we wandered through some of Bogotá’s working and industrial neighbourhoods: Puente Aranda, Barcelona, Galán, La Camelia, Montes, and El Remanso, discovering the city beyond the usual tourist paths.3. Bogota Part 7:A day filled with history, neighbourhoods, and (of course) foooooood! 😋⚰️ We explored Cementerio Central de Bogotá, Colombia’s “Hall of Fame.” Opened in 1836, it’s one of the country’s oldest and most significant cemeteries. You can purchase and design headstones on the same block next to one of the entrances.🚇 Then we wandered through the charming Armenia neighbourhood while watching the construction of Bogotá’s first-ever Metro.🍽️ Naturally, food, food and more glorious food!🚶‍♂️ Quick 4-mile stroll from Quinta Camacho to Santa Ana in the North, discovering parks, cafés, and hidden gems along the way.#Bogota #ColombiaTravel #SouthAmerica #TravelReels #GayTravel by @hencoespag

Bogota Part 6:1. We decided to class it up with afternoon tea. Sooooo good! ☕🍰2. Mocktails for the old folks, followed by a late-night dessert… because why not? 😝🍸🍨3. We had to try the local Dunkin’. No rewards points, but they made up for it with the cutest pink serving tray. 💖🍩4. More beautiful architecture and a stroll through Parque El Virrey, a 5.1-mile (8.2 km) linear park that winds through Zona T. 🌳5. Bogotá Part 5Don’t worry, we definitely didn’t starve between posts. Food photos are back! Bogota part 4:I finally got my camouflage act to work! WoooooThen we took a nice hike through Parque Nacional Enrique Olaya Herrera. Parque Metropolitano Simón BolívarBogotá’s “Central Park” is actually 1.17 times larger than NYC’s Central Park, covering around 400 hectares (nearly 1,000 acres) with approximately 910,000 m² of lawns and green space, earning it the nickname “the lungs of Bogotá.” The park’s massive central lake covers 10 hectares (nearly 25 acres) - about the size of 14 FIFA soccer fields — and is one of Bogotá’s most recognisable landmarks.During its first major development phase in 1983, more than 3,300 trees were planted, transforming what became one of Latin America’s great urban green spaces. #Bogota #ColombiaTravel #VisitBogota #GayTravel #LGBTQTravel by @hencoespag

Monserrate, Bogotá, Colombia!Funicular up: opened in 1929, making it the oldest mechanical way to reach the summit.
