Casa Batllo .. ❤️
Gaudí’s architecture is nature translated into stone, ceramic, glass, and light—buildings that seem to breathe, flow, and grow like living things

I once visited Casa Batlló, but unfortunately I didn’t take a photo in front of its façade. I only have photos of the interior. 🥲
Perhaps I never photographed the façade because it was being restored at the time, hidden behind scaffolding and protective screens 🤔 (I visited there in mid-February 2019)

It is one of those buildings that left me in awe. The level of detail is extraordinary, and the imagination behind it seems almost boundless. Seeing such a wild and visionary idea transformed into a real building is truly remarkable. I can only imagine how challenging it must have been for the craftsmen and builders to bring Gaudí’s vision to life.

I would love to return there someday. Gaudí’s works never grow old to me; no matter how long I look at them, they never feel repetitive or ordinary.

Thank you @virtual_sketchers for creating this fun challenge. It brought back a beautiful memory of Spain and reminded me of the wonder I felt while wandering through Gaudí’s extraordinary world 🙏🏼😍
