This post is for my Jewish family everywhere. In the midst of so much division and polarization, I feel it’s important to reaffirm these seemingly conflicting truths.And if you disagree with any part, that’s okay. We can debate, we can disagree, and we can still hold love for each other.We need the hostages to come home. We need Israelis to live in safety. We need Palestinians to be free from those who exploit their lives for war. We need this war to end.We need #peace—for the sake of all peoples in the Middle East. by @henmazzig

I stepped into one of the most hostile rooms I’ve faced to debate a motion built on a false premise. The outcome was decided long before I spoke. A large crowd of European keffiyeh-wearing students made it clear that facts were irrelevant in this case. Showing up still mattered. Fear is not an option.The one point of clarity came from a Palestinian student and a Jewish student who spoke for coexistence and peace. MIDDLE-EASTERN FOOD IS JEWISH… END OF DISCUSSIONIRAQI FRENCH TOAST - 3 eggs- 120ml whole milk- 2 tbsp date syrup (silan/dibis), for the custard- 0.5 tsp ground cardamom- 0.3 tsp ground cinnamon- 0.5 tsp rosewater (optional)- 1 tsp vanilla extract- 0.1 tsp salt- 6 thick challah slices- 2 tbsp butter, for the pan- 2 tbsp date syrup (silan/dibis), for finishing- 3 dates, roughly chopped - 2 tbsp tahini, for finishing- 3 tbsp shelled pistachios, roughly chopped1. Make the custard: In a wide shallow bowl, whisk eggs, whole milk, date silan, for the custard, teaspoons ground cardamom, ground cinnamon, rosewater (optional), vanilla extract, and salt until fully combined and the date syrup has dissolved2. Soak the challah: Lay 6 thick challah slices in the custard and let them soak about 30 seconds per side. Challah is sturdy, so it can take a good soak without falling apart3. Cook: Melt 2 tablespoons butter, for the pan in a nonstick or cast iron pan over medium-low heat. Cook the slices 2-3 minutes per side until deep golden and set in the center. Keep the heat moderate so the cardamom and sugars caramelize rather than burn.4. Make sauce - add butter, milk, silan, rosewater, cardamom, vanilla extract and salt to a pan, bring it slowly to a boil and simmer till thickened5. Finish and serve: Plate the French toast. Spoon over the sauce and drizzle generously with 2 tablespoons date syrup (silan), for finishing, then drizzle 2 tablespoons tahini, for finishing over the top in loose stripes, and scatter over pistachios and chopped dates6. There’s a film going viral saying violence lives in Israeli DNA.I looked up who made it. Go to my link in bio for the receipts. The film is about Israeli families in an Italian valley. Liberals who marched against their own government and left because they feared for Israel’s democracy. The film convicts them anyway. Their anti-Netanyahu politics and anti-war activism don’t matter. Their blood does.One other film in history was built this way. Nazi Germany, 1940. Same world maps of Jewish migration. Same theory of inherited violence. Neither film can say what a Jew could ever do to be innocent.Four weeks ago the mayor of that Italian valley got a bullet in the mail.And the channel asking you to fund its “independence”? Licensed inside a Qatari government media zone.Everything documented. The families are still in that valley.Share this before it gets taken down. by @henmazzig

55 million views in 12 hours. New York City has 8.5 million people.Tonight begins Tisha B’Av, the day the Jewish calendar sets aside for mourning the destruction of both Temples and two thousand years of catastrophes that gathered around the same date. The rabbis taught that the Second Temple fell to sinat chinam, baseless hatred. Slander did what armies couldn’t.I don’t believe Mamdani consulted a Jewish calendar before posting his video. The timing is likely coincidence. But the fast lands differently this year.Because here’s what most of those 55 million viewers never saw: at the 1:40 mark of a 2:13 video, the mayor admits he cannot do the thing he promised. The accusation opens the video. The retreat is buried at the end, where the retention graph says almost no one is left watching.Jews keep a national day of mourning because we have long experience with accusations that travel faster than any correction can. She ticked every box, but one… ✡️On Saturday night, hundreds of protesters shut her concert down. The city of Grenoble, France, says glass bottles were aimed at the stage. After 20 minutes, it was over. She left the stage while John Lennon’s “Imagine” played.The elected city councilman who organized the protest said he was proud.@barbarabutch is everything the left claims to protect. Gay. A body positivity icon. A woman who survived a far-right hate campaign. None of it mattered once she said antisemitism is real.France’s interior minister said it is plain antisemitism.Her response, after all of it: she stands for love.Share this. “Are you a Mossad agent?”That’s what Christiane Amanpour put to Sarah, the ICC lawyer accusing chief prosecutor Karim Khan of sexual abuse. A Malaysian Muslim woman, showing her face for the first time, describing groping and coercion by one of the most powerful men in international law. And CNN’s move is to make her answer for Israel.Some will call it fair journalism, giving her the chance to deny the rumor on camera. I don’t buy it. You don’t launder a smear by repeating it to the victim’s face. No one asked Weinstein’s accusers if they were foreign assets. The question exists because Khan’s defenders planted it, and CNN watered it.Sarah answered anyway: “If ever there was even a hint of suspicion that I was a state agent of any kind, I would have been dismissed.” She passed the highest security clearances at the court, under Khan and under Bensouda before him.We watched people deny the testimony of women raped on October 7. Now a woman accusing the ICC’s own prosecutor has to prove she isn’t an Israeli spy before anyone will hear her. Invoking Israel has become the fastest way to discredit an inconvenient woman. Losing a friend this way has a signature. It starts slow.The birthday message that doesn’t come. The wedding they never mention. The way your Jewishness, which was never a topic for ten years, becomes the only topic. And then one day they say a sentence to you that no one they know taught them, and you realize you’re talking to someone who was reached.I lost my Jeremy in 2025. He asked about my mother by name in 2023. Kind, humanist, generous. Two years of a feed did what no argument, no book, and no real person in his life ever could.I spent months wondering if I was paranoid. Then I read the forensic reports. The bot networks that went dark the day Iran’s internet did. The staged graffiti in Paris. The 224 million views. I wasn’t paranoid. None of us were. I could have posted the easy video today.Ro Khanna’s story fell apart. My side is celebrating. The algorithm would have loved it.But the same week, radical settlers attacked a CNN crew with rods and a knife. And in March of this year, rioters spent six hours burning villages while the Iron Dome soldiers were defending Tel Aviv from Iran.I fight lies about Israel every single day. That job comes with one rule: I don’t get to tell you any.Israel doesn’t need protection from the truth, but from the lies.That’s not disloyalty. That’s being a Zionist. by @henmazzig

The writing wasn’t just on the wall. It was on Graham Platner’s chest.This moment is so much bigger than the Maine Senate race. It is about a political ecosystem and echo chamber that ignored all the warning signs and elevated an alleged rapist.Now, both extremes of the political spectrum are saying credible rape allegations are acceptable if the perpetrator is anti-Israel enough. Enough. The political instincts of anyone who elevated and excused Platner are fatally flawed. It’s time we finally stop listening to them. by @henmazzig
