Y’alright Cockers!!

My childhood is complete. As a CBBC kid, I was raised on Hacker T Dog so to be able to meet him and do a Blue Peter make with him was just the most surreal thing. Hope to one day work with that little terrier with the wicked sense of humour again.

Huge thanks to @cbbc for making this happen and for the Blue Peter team for making me feel so welcome. @philfletcherofficial and @hackertdog you’re legends and I can’t thank you enough for the amount of joy you brought me as a kid and continue to bring me now.

Be Prepared…

The Ultimate Lion King Behind the Scenes Experience documentary is now out on my YouTube

I can’t describe how much this day meant to me. The Lion King was one of my first West End shows and being able to return to the @lyceumtheatreldn with my family and experience every single element of this beloved show, was a blessing.

From walking like a giraffe, singing Circle of Life & Be Prepared, exploring the puppet workshop, acting opposite Zazu, and of course getting into Scar makeup, this was honestly a dream come true.

A huge thank you to @g.asprey and @gazjordanuk for your friendship and guidance. @ricw94 and @thenjiwe_nofemele for your thorough tutoring. @ollyholmes.uk @jamesdpdrury @mrjbeagley @thisisgreatrex @its.kelly.anne for your kindness and for looking after me and my family, and of course to everyone involved in @thelionkinguk you’re all stars.

Who says Disneyland is just for kids?

This is my Baba, she’s the most special person in my life, and she has had the worst year ever. This woman deserves the world and though I can’t make everything better, seeing her smile properly for the first time in months whilst entering Disneyland is a memory I will treasure forever.

I’ve always dreamt of going to Disneyland with her and I finally managed to make it happen. Surprising her and my Uncle with this trip was such a joy and to share it with some of my dear friends who embraced them with open arms, was a blessing. Find yourself some friends you can trust to push your Grandma’s wheelchair, they’re the real ones.

I can’t thank @quickiewheels_uk and my dear friend @alexkestis enough for hooking me up with the most phenomenal chair for this trip. Without their generosity I’d never have been able to make this happen.

To @riley.sb @smokeyoakey1 @martinjthompson @bensboxoffice @lauren.roseh @alexkestis I will never forget the kindness you showed my Grandma, you’re truly wonderful people.

If there’s one thing I can leave you with, it’s please make the most out of your Grandparents. They are truly one of life’s greatest gifts and we need to treasure them for as long as we can. Call them, take them for lunch, make it known you love them, because they god knows they deserve it.

Talking with the legend Steve Backshall about other wildlife legends. How surreal.

I grew up on Deadly 60 so meeting Steve was a dream. Can’t wait to see his upcoming Deadly Live Arena Tour. It’s a joy still seeing him continue to inspire the next generation of animal lovers.

🌟Henry Calvert (he/him) is a content creator, presenter, journalist and performer from North Yorkshire, known for his northern charm and passion for all things pop culture. Henry has garnered over half a million followers across his social platforms through his viral skits and interviews with Hollywood A listers like Jeff Goldblum, Jonathan Bailey and Jason Momoa. He has worked with leading brands like Disney, Universal, and LEGO. After a number of sold out solo stand up / cabaret style events, he made his West End debut hosting The Phoenix Theatre’s Gala Fundraiser.

🌟Esme Bowler (she/her) is a 2021 Graduate from the ArtsEd Musical Theatre BA (Hons) degree. After performing in a number of cabarets and concerts around London’s West End, she landed a spot on the ITV show Mamma Mia I Have A Dream, coming runner up! She then went on to perform in Heathers The Musical as Heather Chandler (Soho Place Theatre/UK tour).

We can’t wait to welcome them both on stage to our closing performance on Sunday Evening! Where we’ll dive deep into the whimsy and fun of Disney Adults and nostalgia 🏰✨
