Dear Mom,
I love you so much. You were my best friend, mentor, and biggest supporter. It’s been 2 months without you and I haven’t been able to put my emotions into words until now. It brings tears to my eyes to think that I will never get to embrace you again, hear your voice, or just look at you smile. I would move heaven and earth to just see you one more time but unfortunately that is not how the world works. Thank you for the time that we had. You were the most incredible woman I ever will know. You made people feel loved, included, and important in a way I don’t think anyone else can. Your energy and smile was contagious and you lit up every room you walked into. I promise you that even though it is going to be the hardest thing I ever do, I will stay strong for myself, Dad, JP, and Rex. We will always be there for each other and you would be so happy to see how your friends and all the people that you loved have been there for us. You were a truly special part of this community and the love that so many people had for you is amazing. I love you so much and I know that you loved me.
