2 Chronicles 29:5 “and said to them, “Hear me, Levites! Now consecrate yourselves, and consecrate the house of the Lord, the God of your fathers, and carry out the filth from the Holy Place.”
We as a Holy priesthood (1 Peter 2:5-12) are called to cleanse our bodies, Gods temple (1 Corinthians 3:16) from the filth of our flesh and the world, for it creeps in constantly, taking any foothold we give it.

All throughout chronicles, king after king either sets up idols or tears them down, some even tear them down for them to be set up again in just a few years. The books of kings, chronicles, and so many others are perfect written testimony of how nothing but Christ satisfies, nothing but Christ provides, nothing but Christ is life. So many people have tired to live life in some way other than how God desires for us, It’s utterly nonsensical to even try to outdo people like king Solomon, or Alexander the Great, neither fulfilled by the world. I can promise you, you’ll never have more than those men, unless you have Christ, for He is life and life abundantly.
I love art, music mostly, I love that its meaning is mostly subjective. The song space oddity by David Bowie to me is relatable because I just spent a week with no distractions, simply seeking after Gods voice. In space oddity major tom goes to space.
I knew when I got back home to normal life there’d be distractions, and not everyone would be living like they’d just had a profound life changing experience. Major tom is in space, in awe of its grandeur and beauty, and the earth just wants to know who he endorses. The world isn’t thinking about how God spoke to me and moved in my life, or about the beauty of my relationship with him and with my friends, or how vast and precious his creation is. The world wants to know when I’m showing up to work again, or what my solution to the countries problems are. My solution is we must all deal with the God question. John 19:5 “behold the man” Pilate telling the people to see what they did to Jesus. Sit in his presence, it’s better than anything you could ever imagine.
Delete social media, get rid of whatever it is that gets in the way of being with Him.
I get the irony in telling you to delete social media in a Instagram post, but if you’re honest with yourself you don’t even want social media, you don’t need it, and it adds negative value to your life and the use of your time.
I can’t think of a time where I’ve deleted socials and didn’t benefit exponentially from it, I know you will too.
Pray to God, find His promises in the word, pray those and glorify Him.
He’s far too good than we could ever deserve, so treat every moment He gives us to spend with Him as the most important thing you need to do, because it is.
Taste and see that the Lord is good.
Try for a month just isolating from the cares of politics, the world, the drama, whatever it is, and just give it to God. Like a child holding their father’s arm as he takes you on a walk, He’ll lead you where you need to go, you don’t need to know what’s ahead or what’s going on as long as you’re holding His hand, and guess what? I spent last week having the best time of my life, filling my days with communion with Christ our Lord, reading the word He wrote to me, learning His love, learning my weakness, spreading His love and sharing His gift, learning to be more humble in doing so, knowing I can’t do any of that without Him, and learning who he wants me to be. I spent the week in uninterrupted fellowship with my brothers and sisters, growing side by side with them. I learned about my calling to be a witness of Jesus Christ, and while I don’t know to what extent that means, I do know there was a man named Jesus who really lived (more was written about him than the Cesar of his time) he really died, and then 500 people claimed to have seen Him risen from the dead, and died for that belief. He died for your sins, He bore the grief of the world, he wears our sorrows (Isaiah 53) and he loves us. He loves us so so dearly, His word says we have ravished Heart (song of Solomon 4:9) all he desires is that we would accept His gift of love and follow Him. He just wants a faithful relationship with us, us simply being sojourners through His infinitely complex universe that He made so we might know His glory, and Him being almighty yet all loving God.

He desires that we would be set apart from the wickedness of this sinful perverse world, us being set apart is beautiful to Him. In the last slide you see a couple of lilies. Song of Solomon 2:2 says “Like a lily among thorns, so is my darling among the young women.” Guys if you get anything out of reading this caption, get how important it is to know for sure whether or not you stand correctly on the issue of Gods existence and your salvation because it’s the difference between eternal life and eternal separation from any and everything good. He loves you so much He saved you from that, accept that gift.

Winter camp 2025.
The Lord has shown me so much over the past few months. God has really shown me what it means to fear Him, and to trust Him with my whole life. So much we get caught up in this worlds stupid desires and lose sight of what truly matters, loving Him.
I’ve come to know that my life is but a vapor. Psalm 39.
I’ve come to know that even with great faith, I’m guaranteed nothing in this life. Hebrews 11:30-40.
But even though knowing that, I have peace. Knowing I’m loved and known by the one who gives me all I have. Knowing even if I have nothing in this life, He paid the price for my eternal life.
God is good.
This camp was such a blessing, I’m so grateful for all I have and all I have been through.
Though he’s still growing me, I’m excited for what God has in store for the future, even if that’s torture and certain death, I do not fear man who can only kill the body, but God who can destroy my soul. Matthew 10:28.
Life is good, even when it’s not.
