120kg log at 89kg Bodyweight - quite pleased with that PB.

Finished with lots of grip stuff but got video of my new toy. by @henrymullens_strength.pt

It recently occurred to me, that I never actually put the video up of me lifting the Dinnie Stones last year. So here it is.

Little stone - 144kg
Big stone - 188kg

I hope to visit again at the gathering next year and make them look easier. + despite my shaking I felt like I could have held them for a long time (I put them down because I thought someone said down... They didn't, ah well)

I'm not particularly good at static gym lifts like dead lift or squat or bench 😅 but I'm happy to have been able to become part of an exclusive club and be part of history by lifting these legendary stones.

Would never have done it without @nicol.brett there to give advice and show us how easy it is for him 🤣 by @henrymullens_strength.pt

Forgot to post this video of me lifting the saddlin mare a couple of days after the gathering.
I made a shit show of it when I tried a few years ago because I didn't know how to lift stones.. Now with a bit of practice it's a piece of cake 😍

In case you're wondering, this is a combination of Richie and Eddie's Halloween outfits from Bottom - Terror.

I love stones

Probably the worst lift you'll ever see of The historic Fianna stone.
I believe it was purposely shaped like a phallus, hence my last action after the lift. by @henrymullens_strength.pt

Quick fleeting trip to see @bigscarychris and @gemma_dade the world's fittest couple in Newquay. They were very nice to me. I stayed in @pentireparadise which I can confirm is lovely and the view is fantastic being so close to fistral beach.

I lifted some little stones on the beach because that's the law.
Unfortunately I dismantled my pile after taking pictures because I was sure a child would be squashed by it otherwise.

Day before that was near Bristol at The ArcTanGent festival mostly there to see Primus but other good bands were there too. I got to see my boy @coddogg for the first time in probably about 16 years. Picked things up like no time had passed which is always a good sign. Not so long till the next time me thinks.

Was too busy actually living in the moment to get more pictures of people etc. So you'll just have to take my word for some of this 😅 by @henrymullens_strength.pt

Such a simple epic solo I can't believe I never learned to play until today. I enjoyed playing it so much that I wanted to record it for you all. by @henrymullens_strength.pt

All the group photos I have from the tour.
Obviously I'm putting the one where I'm not dwarfed from both sides up first 😁

Great group of guys, but the more the merrier - if you want in on another one let me know.

Edit: forgot to thank @sloth_lifter
For taking all these great pictures - you were awesome to have along.

A heck of a stone tour with @conortoms_strongman
@biglifters
@big_euan_ando
@sloth_lifter bringing smiles and fantastic videography
And the guvna @crawfordov24

1st video/pictures: St Bride's stone 150kg. It was so wet and slippery - I did actually successfully lift once but didn't get it on film, but I was able to stand there long enough for the guys to get their phones out and take a picture 😅 my fault for not asking.

2nd video: Monachyle 120kg

3rd video: The Wallace putting stane 125kg. Big thanks to @bigsexygrandad101 for attending and letting us lift this ancient and delicate stone.

4th video: Maitland stone 127kg. Beautiful view but by far the hardest stone of the day - very wide and very wet. Too much for me this time.

5th video: Loch Voil 124kg. I was seeing stars and my legs were jelly from the previous walk up to the last stone, so unfortunately couldn't finish the shoulder. A nice stone though and on a good day I think I could finish that lift.

6th video: The mighty Ardvorlich stone 152kg. Harder pick up to last year due to fatigue, but a much more convincing stand.

7th video: The MacGregor stone 132kg. Pick up and stand improved from last year - the guys helped by singing steps 5,6,7,8 to get me started.

8th pic: A lovely dip in a fresh mountain stream with Conor and Brett. Well earned and refreshing.

Anyone who wants to do a historic tour, don't wait around - just go, it's worth it big time. Give me a shout if you're looking to arrange one. by @henrymullens_strength.pt

If you've ever watched my stories with any regularity, you may have noticed that there's an awful lot of repetition.
I try and get in slight variations wherever possible to minimise mileage on specific movements, but it's essentially doing the same thing repeatedly for years which brings results that stick - don't expect to get your dream body/performance with just a few months of training.

It's a lifelong game and those who can stay in the longest come out on top. by @henrymullens_strength.pt

Quick little trip to Wales and one of my favourite beaches to do a bit of dog walking and stone lifting.

I left my scales in the car so I have no idea what any of them weigh. None were out of this world weight, but the wet sand on them made it challenging and painful 😁 what more could you ask for?

If these were historic stones, I would have put them down a lot more carefully. by @henrymullens_strength.pt
