Sometimes you lose sometimes you win. This fight ended happily after an intense battle between rocks and large aquatic plants💪 Among many fine fish this spring, this was the largest.

Lure: 13 gram Penna in the color "Light Sandeel" from Sölv - @abugarcia_europe @napognyt.dk

Spring is just around the corner and so are the big chromers🤩

I’m so grateful that this beautiful creature showed up on Vestsjælland and put up a great fight before it surrendered 💣🔥🐟

With a mild autumn and no wind, it can be difficult to get trout to strike at spoons. Fortunately, a fly fished behind a Bombarda float can often trigger a bite.

[ADV] When conditions are impossible, I reach for my 11-foot Abu Garcia SÖLV AG 2. The fly of choice is usually a ‘Brenda’ in size 8. It was under such conditions that this beautiful creature made a brief appearance to pose for the camera before being released back into the water.

The summer carp adventure has begun - part 2/2.

After a week of feeding it was finally time to get behind the rods. The fishing was done at long range and after a number of bream and tench the carp also started to show up at the spots - it ended crazy!

Spring is here! After a long and somewhat sad winter, it was time to catch up on some of the neglected hours at the coast. On Saturday I went fishing with Jonas and it was a really nice day even though we only caught small trout. On Monday it was a few hours after work and here I was lucky enough to run into a trout that had clearly spent the winter in the stream to continue the lineage. It was of course released so that it can regain its shape and become even bigger. Happy days!

We are in the transition to winter🥶As a sea trout angler, this is the most challenging time of year. Cold weather and difficult fish can make you doubt your abilities and make you want to give up. On the other hand, even smaller fish feel like a huge win when you have to work hard to get maybe just one bite a day. Fortunately, my enthusiasm and faith are at their peak after a fantastic autumn that started with this fantastic fish🐟

About last weekend🐟🍁🍖 Super cozy overnight stay in a lovely cottage while we celebrated @kystdage s big birthday. The days offered lots of fishing, talking about fishing and lots of good food. What more could you really want?.
