Part 3: Jesus — The Life

Three claims. One person.
The Way.
Because we needed access to God.
The Truth.
Because we needed certainty in a world full of competing voices.
The Life.
Because we needed something stronger than death itself.

Perhaps that is the simplest summary of Christianity. Not that humanity found God.
But that God came looking for humanity through Jesus Christ.

If you’ve followed this series, I encourage you to revisit all three parts.Because if Jesus truly is the Way, the Truth and the Life, then that is not merely a belief.

It changes everything.

Part 2: Jesus — The Truth

“I don’t know what truth is.” This was One response that stayed with me:

And perhaps that is one of the defining questions of our generation. Because if truth is not known, then what exactly are we building our lives on?

Yet Jesus made a claim unlike any other: Not, “I know the truth.” Not, “I teach the truth.”
But: “I am the Truth.”

Christianity is not an invitation to discover your own truth.It is an invitation to encounter the One who claimed to be Truth itself. And the resurrection is God’s validation of that claim.

Because if Christ truly died, rose again and lives today, then truth is no longer merely an idea to be debated.

Truth has a name. And His name is Jesus Christ.

I actually had a different series planned.

Then I watched a debate involving people from different religious backgrounds, and one response stopped me in my tracks.

When asked about truth, someone simply said:
“I don’t know what truth is.” And I couldn’t stop thinking about it.

Because if we don’t know what truth is, how do we know where we’re going? How do we know we’re right? How do we know we’ve found God?

So I’m taking a brief detour from the content I had planned.
Think of this as my version of Gospel 101.
Not an attempt to win an argument.
Not an attempt to attack another belief system.

Just an attempt to explain, as clearly as I can, the heart of what Christians mean when we say:

Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life.

Part 1 starts with “The Way.”

And if you’ve ever wondered what Christianity is actually about, this is probably a good place to start.

This video has sat with me for the last couple of weeks.

I struggled to share it. Not because I couldn’t, but because somehow, at the time, I felt restrained from doing so. I knew there was a reason I needed to wait.

Today, I felt a release in my spirit to share it. So, here it is.

And my prayer is that the person who needs this finds it.

The person who has wandered.
The person who has gone quiet.
The person who once knew the nearness of God but somehow found themselves further away than they ever intended to be.

Maybe you have convinced yourself that it has been too long. Maybe you feel ashamed to come back. Maybe you don’t even know how to begin again.

But this is your reminder:

Come home.

You are not too far gone. You have not wandered beyond His reach. The Father is still calling you back.

And my prayer is not simply that this video finds you, but that when it does, God does a quick work in you. That something shifts. That your heart turns again. That what has been dormant comes alive. That you find your way back to Him.

“For he will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness: because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth.”
Romans 9:28 (KJV)

This week, may God breathe on what you already have and make it more than enough. May what has felt delayed begin to move, and may you find grace to keep going while God is still working behind the scenes.

My first attempt at bringing a biblical story to life with AI.

I chose Eutychus because it is one of those stories we can easily read and move past, yet there is something deeply relevant in it: being physically present isn’t the same as being spiritually awake.

One thing this process has taught me is that AI can help tell the story, but Scripture has to remain the source of the story. I had to keep going back to the text, checking what was actually there and learning how to use AI without allowing it to change the meaning.

This is the beginning of The Stories You Missed — Episode 1 bringing overlooked biblical stories to life and asking what they might still be saying to us today.
