A big squishy comfort jumper. Picked as a calming project to ground me during multiple moves and a three month renovation. Cast on in East London (miss you!), finished in South East London (settling in!) and knitted on trips to Scotland and Germany in between.
Yarn is one strand of @studiodonegal soft Donegal in shade 5511 charcoal held together with one strand of @gepardgarn kid seta in shade 422 anthracite via the wonderful @wildandwoollyshop by @hepplemakes

@petiteknit #sophiehood ready just in time for the -4 degrees celcius temperatures in London last week ❄️

knitted using @westyorkshirespinners Fable brushed Aran (which has a touch of mohair) in colour Titan - a bluey grey that’s a tiny bit different but super wearable. Yarn bought on a dreamy WFH lunch break @wildandwoollyshop with my knitting sister @jessmeyer__ taken in Canonbury by @hepplemakes

Little wrap over cardigan for precious Nora @simmone_aziz

A slightly more intricate baby pattern than I’m used to - knitted over a few months in lots of places. Started on a plane to Cape Town, finished on a train from Edinburgh to London and a few craft club sessions with work mates.

my @rows_knitwear Easy Vest is finally ready to be worn… 🍫🐐🐏

1. done!
2-3. @dropsdesign wool delivery in March (alpaca + silk mohair), beginnings of bottom rib
4. growing slowly into May
5. a long pause resumed on a rainy holiday to the West Coast 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿in August
6-8. picked up pace in November as the weather turned - a few WIP try ons and a picture from craft club at work (where we all bring our own projects)
9-10. on the home stretch in December

This is going to be a long one (!) but I finally got round to gathering some pictures of this knit. It’s the Boyfriend Slipover from @typical_bliss made using @langyarns_official Merino Plus in colour 25.

I made this last Autumn whilst living in Amsterdam and it kept me good company on trains, buses, planes to Utrecht, Antwerp and the UK. Knitting turned out to be a useful outlet for homesickness/lovesickness during long times apart 🥺

It took me and Robin a good hour searching @hi.ravelry to find something cute and not too mad professor. I’d heard about the knitting curse (don’t knit your boyfriend a jumper or he’ll break up with you before it’s finished) but I think a sleeveless jumper was safe! by @hepplemakes

she’s a bit too big, lumpy and holey (as I didn’t know how to pick up dropped stitches or swatch properly), but she reminds me of how much I’ve learned since starting to knit and still makes me happy when wearing 💙 taken in Margate, Kent by @hepplemakes

The #0815hat - a reliable pattern I always come back to when I need to feel grounded 🧘🏻‍♀️

This hat was made using fleece collected from a baby alpaca 🦙 in Scotland, then spun into yarn by my Mum and knitted up by me 🧶

Knitted over a period of transition, saying goodbye to familiar people, places and cats and hello to very special new adventures💞 taken in Barnsbury, Islington by @hepplemakes
