Wanted to document every day of our road trip, but procrastination got the better of me. A visit to @arrival_hall in search of a little inspiration unexpectedly brought us back to our past lives. While browsing through @softervolumes : Bars, Vol. 1, we came across photographs we had taken for @night.hawk.sg Never in a million years did we imagine our work would find its way into those pages.

Needless to say, we bought a copy and brought it home to add to our collection. A small but another meaningful reminder that the work we put out into the world has a way of travelling further than we ever expect. taken in ARRIVAL HALL by @herabot

In 2019, Julie and I started @paperstreetdesign.co and our very first project was a mural for Chye Seng Huat Hardware. The artwork was titled “I once dreamed of a life where all was how I imagined it to be.”

Today, our dear friend Amanda reminded us of it, and seeing it again felt like opening a letter from our younger selves. There’s something special about leaving pieces of yourself behind. They become little markers in time, quiet reminders of who you once were and the dreams you carried. Funny how life has a way of coming full circle.
