I will NEVER forget this day. How scared I felt to let go, how excited I felt to have so many people that I love and that love me watching me, how many tears I shed writing the EP, it was all worth it because of you! Thank you to my insanely talented band who honestly is like family @_.pheby @tomallenmusic @luke_chak @nathan_dthomas @chi_udk @chi_drums @_zinzy_ @millicentjames_

Body as home, presents Tongues on Fire. A new night spotlighting South Asian women creatives, curated by Raveena & Rupinder.

After reflecting on what the next chapter of Body as Home should look like, it felt only right to create something that brings together everything we love storytelling, music, poetry and community.

Through the workshops we’ve delivered, we’ve witnessed something truly special: a community of women coming together to share, create, connect and hold space for one another.

Join us for an evening celebrating the creativity of South Asian women through spoken word, poetry and live music. Expect an intimate and inspiring night filled with powerful performances and honest storytelling. Featuring headline performances from: HERÁ, Serena Jasmine, Yazzie Min, RX & Rupinder Kaur ❤️‍🔥

The mic is open. Open mic sign-ups will be available on the night, with priority given to women, people of colour and non-binary performers. Whether you’re sharing poetry, spoken word, music, or a story, this is a space to take up space, be heard, and celebrate your creativity. 🫶🏽
