MANUIA !
Happy Birthday to my namesake — TUFANUA Tuimoloau Seuga of Sili Manu’atele, Samoa.
KAVA (+herb) Klubb is just my intention to live up to her impact in community with benevolence, tact, integrity, and care+service.
I am my grandma’s granddaughter.

To honor Samoan tradition, and serve as representation, while our culture is commodified and appropriated by white folks dismissin it as a trendy mocktail.

KAVA Klubb grows more into a collective every month..
Themes & intentions adjust according to the dope Black, Pasifika, & Brown creatives who bless the space.
Energy from all my folks curate the space for inclusion & connection w all who show up.

Joy is not a reward.
Community is not transactional.
Care is not a burden.

KAVA Klubb x The Lavender Hub: Mutual Aid Kickback Edition will be on this Saturday! KAVA Klubb is a space/collective that centers mutual aid, trade/barter, harm reduction, and decolonizing wellness—by intentionally gathering to co-learn and share skills, knowledge, and services. You can expect community, crafts, culture of Kava, herbs, food, music, and good vibes. ❤️

If you donate to the gfm, venmo, etc, you can attend for free! The event is pay what you can. All donations (or handmade gift, card, or trinket) welcomed & suggested to support our mutual aid request for me. Nobody turned away for lack of funds—details on Partiful. The link to RSVP is in our bio.💗 You’ll find more info about this event, including the address there.

A special thank you to @herbaceousmixx for reaching out to me and making this happen. These gatherings happen monthly, so if you can’t make this one. I recommend going to one in the future. Hope to see you there! taken in Inland Empire, CA by @herbaceousmixx

BODYWORK & RELEASE Edition✨

My folks in my life, community, kava, herbs, & music been good to me for building stress tolerance.

Learning the history of Fofo (bodywork/massage) in Samoan traditional healing, made me recognize that decolonizing wellness includes de-centering western/psych methods;
by learning & engaging with your indigenous ways of healing.

Including basic cupping points (TCM) with the Fofo has helped me release tension with less time & strain on my hands.
See details for seshes w link in bio!

Much Luv to Martiiin (@generalsystems.studio) & the @etereo_tea cru for trading services (& dope vibes) w me !
Preciate you lettin me set up the studio to bring KAVA Klubb from DT SB to DT Riv this monff😚
