The Repro Access Coalition of SWFL (RAC), a recent initiative of Lee County NOW, is establishing Repro & Flow Pantries at various locations in the Fort Myers area, including local businesses, food pantries, and homeless veteran outreach programs. We intend to expand these services throughout Lee County, then Collier County, and beyond.

We are delighted to collaborate with Femina Global and Visuality, Inc. (The Goldberg Center), and are proud global partners of the Maasika Mahotsav (Period Festival) to present our first annual Repro & Flow Health Festival. This festival will focus on women's health, with a special emphasis on period and reproductive health.

Saturday, May 31st, 10 - 2pm
Fort Myers Villas Civic Assoc
2316 Sunrise Blvd, Ft Myers

The first 100 participants will receive complimentary period products, courtesy of The Alliance for Period Supplies of SWFL & HerCare.

Reproductive & Period Health Education will be offered for all ages.

Discussions will cover historical and contemporary cultural perspectives on menstruation (Red Tent, Croning, etc.).

The McGregor Clinic, Inc. will provide free STI/STD & HIV testing.

There will be vendors, food trucks, books, raffles, and activities for children.

Today Hercare members made “wear it for awareness” bracelets which will be sold and all funds will go to Hercare. This march is endometriosis month and women’s history month, so members made bracelets with those awareness colors. 🫶🏼🫶🏼 by @hercareorg

We are in the process of selecting the official hercare nonprofit board, which will be featured on our website and recognized as the leadership team for our growing organization! 💖

Above are the officer positions—only available to Canterbury High School for now because they’ve proven to be the most determined school; however, we will open it up to other chapters in different schools next year.

How It Works (For Now, Only at Canterbury!):
1️⃣ Each school will vote for three representatives based on their speeches.
2️⃣ The three elected members from each school will move on to the next stage of voting.
3️⃣ Finalists will submit an anonymous anecdote to Meher, and the official HerCare nonprofit board will be chosen solely based on their initiatives for fairness!

🎀 Available Positions:
📱 Social Media Coordinator – Runs chapter updates & Instagram posts!
💰 Fundraising Coordinator – Organizes fundraisers for HerCare’s initiatives!
🎟️ Event/Campaign Coordinator – Plans & leads awareness events!
🌟 Overall Director – Oversees the board’s progress, helps guide team members, and ensures the smooth operation of all projects.

Those selected in the final round will officially become part of HerCare’s leadership team, with their names featured on our website and recognized across all school chapters! 💕 by @hercareorg

Our upcoming HerCare projects! 💖

We’re working on initiatives for mental health awareness, women in shelters, and body positivity! Some of our projects include:

Mindful Moments Jars – Self-care tips & affirmations for hospital front desks, offices, and school.

Breathe Easy Bags – Stress balls & fidget toys for anxiety relief for the Crisis Prevention and Empowerment team.

Affirmation Bookmarks – Uplifting quotes & women’s health reminders on customized bookmarks.

Donations- We are donating to new mothers and kids and teens in shelters.

This Valentine’s day, HerCare hosted a “Hearts & Healing Day” where we provided stuffed animals and cards for them to write encouraging messages.

Valentine’s Day is about more than just showing love to others. It’s also about loving yourself.

Mental health is just as important as physical health, yet it’s often overlooked. Stress, anxiety, and emotional struggles affect so many people, including teachers, healthcare workers, and employees who continue to show up every day despite their challenges.

These gifts will be delivered to hospitals, offices, and teachers to remind them that mental health matters. by @hercareorg
