These fake plants from Ikea are really worth it. In Alaska I had a lot of real plants around the house, but I keep killing them here. 😢 Will try real plants again this Spring, maybe.
P.S. sand from Chena River of Fairbanks. Ak

Started working on the holiday collection today. Feels strange doing this in September! But lately I have felt so inspired to create new pieces, something I haven't felt for the last several months. ✨️ feels good to dreaming and planning again. Sparkle time!

Softer colors for falling into sweater weather.
I am ready to embrace cooler temps and earlier sunsets. Pulling out books from my TBR with witches, ghosts and spooky thrillers. Do you switch your books with the seasons? I definitely do! What Fall books are excited for?

Mountain and Main! Another shop that I have been working with for almost 10 years. Shana carries jewelry made with sand from the Adirondacks of New York. Thank you, Shana! If you are in that area, go check out her cute shop!

2026 Ornament for Guam! Is it July? Yes.
Designing yearly ornaments has always been my summer tradition. I usually start by pencil drawing some hideous artwork, I am soooo bad at drawing. But my brain loves musing. These paper drawings get sent to @tinybirdstudioak and Kendra makes me REAL! Without her, there would be NO holiday ornaments. Each year she takes my messy sketches and notes and makes magic. I am so thankful for her friendship and talent. Thank you, Kendra!

Hafa Adai! For nearly 10 years the Faith Bookstore on Guam has been carrying the H&T line. My daughter was 2 when we started dropping off jewelry to their store. ( back when my shop was called Love From Guam!) Together we would browse for gifts and catch up with their wonderful staff. My daughter is 12 now, and wears the sandy Guam earrings herself! I cherish all the relationships we have made with our wholesale shops. Getting to know their families too. But Faith Bookstore store has been my longest partnership! Surviving typhoons, earthquakes, a pandemic and both of us have moved too. So if you are on Guam, go say Hafa Adai to my friends @faithbookstoreguam And thank you Faith Bookstore for continuing to work with me!
