Hospitality Design & Placemaking based in Auburn & Opelika, Alabama
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Genuinely honored to share the newest venture for our little family and community, Here Studios! Here Studios is a placemaking and hospitality focused design studio that exists to serve people and places.

I started Here Studios about seven months ago and have been quietly working in the background to have some stories worth telling. It has been a humbling, daily walk of growing, learning, and doing the work with the support of many walking alongside me.

Here Studios doesn’t work within a single design style; part of the joy of this work is embracing the personality and visual language of each unique project. We love being flexible and creatively aligned with the concept at hand, wearing the personality of the project as our lens for curation, shaping design that feels true to the place and its people. We’ve been working with individuals, small businesses owners, and the whole gambit — often visionaries, creatives, and community builders.

Man it’s been a joy, and a humbling journey but Lord willing, Here Studios is only getting started! by @here_studios

Moments from 546 Arbor Dr. - The Henry. Although the floor plan is familiar, each Henry takes on its own character through carefully selected finishes, materials, and details.

Good homes aren’t defined by how much space they have, but by how that space is experienced. The Henry was planned to create comfortable transitions, meaningful connections between rooms, and a natural rhythm to everyday life.

540 Arbor Dr - The Henry - Designed around the experience, not just space.

From the beginning, this home was designed around the courtyard, creating a private outdoor space that brings natural light into the heart of the home and changes the way each room is experienced. Every detail of the plan was intentional, designed to create a home that feels connected, comfortable, and timeless.

One of the coolest parts of the design process is getting to partner with clients on tactile details that pull the personality of their project through in quiet touch points. Perhaps an atypical portion of a design process, but so full of opportunity for creative and unique hospitality.

It could be the vessel that holds matchbooks on the hostess stand, the tray the food is delivered on, the “employees must wash hands” signage in the restroom, the salt and pepper shakers that live on the tables, the vase full of dried flowers, the ramekin the sauce is served in. These things can either be afterthoughts or intentionally curated, and truthfully make the difference in a space that feels like itself to its core and anticipates the needs of those using it.
