The trailer for this game CARRIED the WHOLE State of Play. Glad they fixed Jean Grey. Also, stop complaining about "too many lines in the costume". This game is going for a realistic approach to a superhero uniform. It's works for me.

Finally got around to finishing this. It's a solid "B" for me. I really don't get the whole "xenophobic" narrative for simply implying that some things in this world are just parasitic. Y'all gotta stop being so sensitive. Other than that, most of the episodes in the season are pretty chill. The main character reminisces about the past with her fellow adventurers. However, when things do pop off (fighting), it's pure eye candy.

First things first: Congrats on getting the 2nd printing Milestone Media. However, if this possible means more appearances in the mainline universe or a possible series from Static (or other Milestone heroes or villains), DON'T MAKE THE MISTAKES AS YOU DID with the reboot a few years back. No social activist writer or lazy artists. Just engaging stories with quality artwork. That is all.

Anti-heroes are the superheroes that the REAL WORLD needs. They would know how to properly deal with monsters and wouldn't give them chance after chance. No pleading the fifth or insanity for the villains. Just proper and permanent solutions. I wonder how Superman or Captain America would respond if they saw "the files"?

Ok, two things:
1. Batman better upgrade his suit if he's taking on Darkseid's version of Deathstroke.
2. Superman, please avenge Ollie. You never got to meet him, but still he needs justice. Hawkman really tryna be Conquest from Invincible 🤣.

A WELL-DESERVED FADE: ABSOLUTE BATMAN NO.14 SPOILER FREE REVIEW.
After testing out the venom with Alfred, Batman is ready to finally take on Bane where the world can see it. With the help of some loose and long time friends, he gives Bane a good run for his money.
Both the protagonist and antagonist have a lot on the line if they lose. One becomes another puppet for Ark M while the other might have the chance to finally stop being a pawn and go back home to his family. I personally might buy a variant cover when this issue gets reprinted. 9/10 for me.

Absolute Batman Annual quick Non-spoiler review: For the slow crowd: Bruce literally asked for NON-LETHAL weapons from the black market dealer meaning that he already had an "no-kill" rule established. Also, wouldn't the preacher call him out if he actually "unalived" those people? If anything, the treatment he gave the wh!te supremac!sts was just a tad more brutal than Black Mask's Party Animals. Also, for the people still calling this "woke", it's very Anti-American to root against the person fighting against the Naz!s.
The other two stories fun reads as well.

Absolute Evil One-Shot Review:
This was probably one of the best lore dumps I've read in a while. The story dives into how much Darksied's influence shapes this universe. Much like the real world, those that are usually viewed as heroes reveal themselves to be sellouts or complete TRASH when no one's looking. The ultra-wealthy turn the gears of the world behind the scenes and many who try to resist get "dealt with".
The major stand out moment in this book is "The Joker's" monologue about how the three main Absolute heroes (Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman) are an "injustice" to everything that's right by their universe's meaning. It's definitely a must read in my opinion.

A lil late to the party, but here I am. This Batman was first humbled back when he took the offer from Black Mask, but now it's even MORE personal. I didn't expect something like this to happen this soon honestly. Then again, this is Darksied's universe where hope is very rare. Issue no.12 showed how much of a gambler Bruce is and this time, the house might've won. Highly recommend.
