happy mother’s day loves!

big shoutout to @maya_mcr for inviting myself, my sisters and my gorgeous mother @bigdeethediva to be involved in their promo for mother’s day, what a camp video we managed to put together! truly some of the most fun i’ve had in drag!

of course i took some pictures from the day of the shoot, in this bodice i cut and painted myself!! definitely a labour of love but im so proud of how it managed to turn out.

and of course happy mother’s day SPECIFICALLY to the two beautiful women that inspire, guide and uplift my drag.
@bigdeethediva thank you so much for always seeing something more in me, for believing in me and always teaching me how to carry myself in everything i do. this shoot was so fun with you, being in drag with you is always such an honour, i love you.
and @sheisvil, your kindness and generosity and love for what you do is something im always so thankful for. for someone who never wanted a kid, im so blessed you saw something of yourself in me, my personality or my performance that made you want to take me under your wing. i love you.

now with all that said i think im finished,

all my love, Venice xxx

A little love note to the mothers who made us — biologically, emotionally, spiritually, and on the dancefloor.

This Mother’s Day, MAYA is celebrating chosen family, drag families, and all the incredible women at the heart of our community.

Champagne for mum, obviously 🥂

SUSHI!!!

since i heard the unreleased snippets, the teases of it in the live sets i saw, ive been obsessed with this song @fkatwigs

when it was finally fully released, i knew i wanted to perform it more than anything, but it was such a big step out of my comfort zone of what my drag has grown to be, inspired by burlesque and glamour and rhinestones.

i often think i don’t have what it takes to be a cuntier girl, i’m quite stiff and i move awkwardly and my paint isn’t the fiercest it could be, but i’m so glad i buried all of that and put this number together because i am SO SO proud of it.

@tyla.diabla and @klawdeendiabla i am so thankful you trusted my vision and wanted to do this number with me, you both have so much talent and kindness that will get you so so far and im so happy i get to see you both getting bigger and better things. i know its weird sometimes because im like also your boss but i really do love you two as friends outside of work and again i just can’t put into words how grateful i am youse put the time into making this come to life with me.

it took a lot of time and effort but its fucking SICKENINGGGG

lots of love, Venice x

I’ve had the loveliest week being able to perform on the Sunday Show again at @newunionhotelmcr, it’s been a while!
Any chance I get to improve my drag, look better, dress better, perform better, I’m so incredibly grateful for. And it was truly the most fun I’ve had onstage, and I think it shows! But I know I can still exceed even what I did this time, so watch this space! x

Much love to @sheisvil, @theeivygroove and @summer_saltyyy for constantly talking me off a ledge and helping me improve so much by giving me your time, and ear. I adore you all and this show would’ve looked a lot different without the help you gave me.💕
