GRACE + ANDREW 9.25.26!!!!

Listen….. you know those weddings where you are sitting there and you get a chill that runs through your entire body because you can just FEEL how much the couple loves each other? That’s what was happening to us ALL day on Grace + Andrew’s day. To the point where later in the evening Lexi turned to me and said “my face hurts from how much I’ve been smiling” THAT is the kind of day it was. Grace + Andrew, you have our hearts forever.

Chicago History Museum is also just one of my favorite venues because getting ALL the guests on the steps for a photo is so iconic. It was such a surreal moment when Grace + Andrew stepped forward and looked back at all of their guests. Heart exploding.

A look into A+S wedding at the @colvinevents. A day full of color, beautiful traditions, and so much love from the people surrounding them. Truly grateful they trusted us to document it all. Always a pleasure working alongside Pauline and the team at @hereitblooms. The day came together beautifully, with florals by @trablume and hair and makeup by @windycityglam and a big thank you to my team. @gmin_design, for bringing another perspective and catching the moments unfolding alongside me. @miriamapierce, for helping load my film, keeping me organized throughout the day, and handling everything else that allowed me to stay present and focused on capturing the moments in front of me. Couldn’t have done it without you both!

Consider this part one. I cannot wait to share more of the vibrant Indian traditions and beautiful colors woven throughout their celebration.

Having your backdrop be the world’s largest Tiffany glass dome is pretty unreal, but Rachel and Rohan’s fusion wedding at the Chicago Cultural Center was special for so many reasons. 🥰

They nailed the setup with beautiful flowers, warm candlelight, and taking the baraat onto an open-top bus through the city streets set the tone for the entire day!

What made this one extra meaningful for me was the history. I actually photographed Rohan’s sister’s wedding ten full years ago. Coming back a decade later to photograph Rohan marrying Rachel, and seeing their family grown with two adorable kids running around the dance floor, brought the whole experience full circle. Capturing huge milestones for the same families as the years roll on is easily the best part of this job! 📸
